    摘要： Disclosed are methods and apparatus for the dissemination of public warning system (PWS) information. In one embodiment, a wireless transmit/receive unit receives a Paging Request message that includes PWS notification information. In another embodiment, a base station is configured to transmit a Paging Request message that includes public warning system (PWS) notification information. In another embodiment, a WTRU begins a procedure for the assignment of a radio resource for the WTRU. The procedure may be, for example, a Random Access Channel (RACH) procedure. The WTRU may monitor a control channel for an assignment message related to the radio resource. In response to receiving a PWS notification, the WTRU may terminate the resource assignment procedure.

    摘要： Methods and apparatus for improved Multiple Users Reusing One Slot (MUROS) operation include two or more wireless transmit/receive units (WTRU) multiplexed onto multiple sub-channels in a single timeslot. Addressing information included in layer two headers, Radio Resource Control (RRC) messages, and layer one parameters in a SACCH/FACCH transmission indicate that the transmission is intended for a particular WTRU. A FACCH transmission may be sent on a sub-channel reserved for another WTRU. Stealing bits in a voice frame may be set to indicate that the FACCH transmission is intended for a WTRU on the sub-channel reserved for another WTRU. Different WTRUs in a multiplexed group may be configured to decode layer one parameters in a SAACH according to alternating patterns.

    摘要： A method and wireless communication system may be used for transferring management information. An access point (AP) may transmit a management information base (MIB) information request including a category field and an action details field to a wireless transmit/receive (WTRU). In response to receiving the information request, the WTRU may determine whether or not to provide management information to the AP. When the WTRU provides management information to the AP, the WTRU may compile management information stored in a MIB located in the WTRU and transmit a MIB information report to the AP. The MIB may list a plurality of tables containing information associated with radio resource management (RRM) and at least one table containing physical layer measurements. The AP may include a MIB for storing MIB information of the WTRU. The AP may transmit the stored MIB information of the WTRU in response to a request.

    摘要： A method and wireless communication system for transferring management information. The system includes at least one access point (AP) including a first management entity and a second management entity, and at least one wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) including a third management entity and a fourth management entity. The AP transmits a management information base (MIB) information request action frame including a category field and an action details field to the WTRU. In response to receiving the information request action frame, the WTRU determines whether or not to provide management information to the AP. When the WTRU provides management information to the AP, the WTRU compiles management information stored in a MIB located in the WTRU and transmits a MIB information report action frame to the AP. The MIB lists a plurality of tables containing information associated with radio resource management (RRM) and at least one table containing physical layer measurements.
