Abstract:
The present invention is to provide a combination antenna having multi-mode and multi-band arrangements, which comprises a conductive seat; a non-uniform helical antenna extending from one end of the conductive seat; and a pole antenna extending from one end of the conductive seat through the helical antenna, enabling to be tuned to three or more resonant frequencies through tuning the helical antenna to a plurality of resonant frequencies and tuning the pole antenna to a plurality of resonant frequencies different from that to which the helical antenna is tuned.
Abstract:
An electronic device with several charging modes includes a transmission module, a central control module, an interface module, and a power module. The transmission module includes a first connecting terminal for connecting an external electronic product and produces a corresponding identification signal according to each external electronic product. The central control module supplies different power supplies to each external electronic product and produces a corresponding power setting signal. The interface module obtains a different power supply for each external electronic product through the transmitting module and converts each different power supply into a same charging power according to the power setting signal and identification signal. The power is stored in the power module to charge the power module, so that the electronic device just needs a transmitting module to obtain the power from any external electronic product, and thus greatly improve the convenience of charging the electronic device.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a system for detecting a battery voltage with high precision, of which a RC filter circuit or a PI type circuit is applied to a handheld hardware device for eliminating the effect of a power noise on a battery voltage detector of the handheld device, while an appropriate weight algorithm is used with the software of the handheld device, such that a conditional determination can be added to a remaining battery capacity parameter to compensate the effect of the fluctuated battery voltage caused by the consumed current, so as to detect the battery voltage with a high precision and allow users to determine the using time of the handheld device accurately.
Abstract:
A light spot control system, using a projection light of a projection device to initiate a control of a mobile communication device, includes an I/O unit and a processing unit. The I/O unit is used to receive the projection light. The processing unit is used to provide a time value and a position value. The time value is a duration of the projection light stayed at the I/O unit, and the position value is a position of the projection light stayed at the I/O unit. When the time value meets a default value, the respective position value is used to perform the control.
Abstract:
The present invention is to provide a cellular phone capable of detecting counterfeit currency or lighting comprising a counterfeit currency detection bulb, a lamp and a keypad, wherein the keypad includes a first dual key in association with the counterfeit currency detection bulb, a second dual key in association with the lamp and a plurality of third keys, such that in response to pressing the first dual key or the second dual key, the cellular phone activates the counterfeit currency detection bulb for detecting counterfeit currency or activates the lamp for lighting respectively.
Abstract:
A system and a method for retrieving information, and an IP setting interface are provided, which are applicable to a portable communication apparatus. The system comprises a retrieving user interface, a code correspondence table, and a comparison module. The retrieving user interface provides the portable apparatus to input an inquiry code and to output a retrieved result. The code correspondence table maps a set of default area code data to a set of default inquiry code data corresponding to the set of default area code data. The comparison module compares the inquiry code and the set of default inquiry code data and obtains an area code as a retrieved result. Furthermore, the purposes of fast retrieval of the area code and fast dialing can be achieved, and the convenience of the portable communication apparatus can be improved.
Abstract:
This invention discloses a portable communication apparatus having an optical character recognition (OCR) function. The apparatus at least contains an optical input unit, a processing unit and an edition unit. After the optical input unit obtains the image information which is further transformed by the processing unit to letters which can be processed by the portable communication apparatus, the edition unit then can edit and/or store the letters into the portable communication apparatus to finish the OCR function.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method of transmitting facsimile over a mobile communication device, capable of fast and effectively sending facsimile by wireless facsimile services, comprising the steps of: defining a data structure to set up a transmission format; editing a facsimile content to conform to the transmission format; verifying the GPRS authentication to start the communication service for data transmission; waiting to receive the response for successful transmission after the data have been transmitted, so as to confirm the completion of the operations, and finally disconnecting the GPRS service.
Abstract:
A micromirror which includes a substrate, a reflective layer comprising pure aluminum overlying the substrate and a protective layer comprising titanium nitride overlying the reflective layer is disclosed.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method of calculating fee for downloading data from the wireless application protocol (WAP) network, comprising the steps of: issuing a request for downloading data from a mobile communication device to a network server; recording a subscriber ID from the mobile communication device and a data ID, a fee status and a report status corresponding to the subscriber ID on the network server; issuing a download data package from the network server to the mobile communication device, and the download data package comprising the data ID and a count; recording the data ID and the count, a use count, a fee status request and a report status request corresponding to the data ID on the mobile communication device; and before the mobile communication device uses the download data, checking the fee status request, the report status request and if the use count is greater than the count, then deciding whether to prompt for a fee payment request, and permitting the use of the download data.
