    Abstract: A prosthesis delivery device and method are described herein. An elongate sheath extends about a longitudinal axis, and a hub is coupled to the sheath. A handle is distal to the hub, and a connector assembly is coupled to a proximal end of the handle. The connector assembly is removably coupled to the hub, and the connector assembly includes a longitudinal passageway defined therein in communication with the longitudinal hub lumen. In one aspect, the connector assembly includes a plurality of jaw elements, and an actuating ring operable to move the jaw elements between the attachment configuration where the jaw elements are coupled to the hub, and the detachment configuration where the jaw elements are radially displaced and decoupled from the hub to remove a component from the sheath lumen.

    Abstract: The present embodiments provide a prosthesis deployment system, and method of deployment of a prosthesis using the same, having a positioning member at least partially disposed within a tubular segment of a tip assembly. The positioning member is movable between nondeployed and deployed configurations. In the nondeployed configuration the positioning member can permit the tip assembly to move relative to the enlarged body assembly. When an enlarged body is at a position farther away from a tip body, which may be at the edge of the tubular segment, the positioning member can move or flare to its deployed configuration to inhibit the enlarged body from moving relatively closer to the tip assembly. Axial force applied to the tip assembly during withdrawal of the tip assembly can be transmitted via the positioning member to the enlarged body assembly to facilitate its withdrawal from the body.

    Abstract: Stent grafts and methods of deployment thereof are provided. The stent graft includes a tubular graft body having a graft wall defining a lumen extending between first and second end openings. A stent structure is coupled along the graft wall. A top stent includes a first portion coupled along an inner surface of the graft body at attachment locations, and a second portion extending beyond the first end opening outside of the graft body. The attachment locations are circumferentially spaced from one another in an annular pattern. An end of the stent structure is spaced from the first end opening by a clearance length. When the stent graft is in the radially expanded configuration, the first portion retracts to a retracted length from an extended length, and a portion of the second portion has a greater cross-sectional area and a different cross-sectional shape than the graft body.

    Abstract: A prosthesis delivery device includes an inner cannula, a positioner disposed coaxially over a first portion of the inner cannula, a concentric cannula disposed coaxially over a second portion of the inner cannula, and a tip assembly disposed over a third portion of the inner cannula. A distal end of the concentric cannula is attached to a proximal end of the positioner. The tip assembly comprises a distal tip segment and a proximal tip segment, with the distal tip segment attached to a proximal end of the concentric cannula and the proximal tip segment attached to a proximal end of the inner cannula. A prosthesis is carried on the concentric cannula and a sheath is mounted coaxially over the prosthesis. The sheath comprises a split defining a proximal sheath segment and a distal sheath segment. A proximal end of the proximal sheath segment is attached to the proximal tip segment.
