    摘要： System and method for managing the cancellation of equipment lease contracts on a date prior to the date set forth in the contract (Dt) wherein a database of lease contracts comprising a plurality of account entries is maintained, each account entry including lease contract information comprising the name of the lessor, the normal contract lease termination date (Dt), the amount (Pa) and number (Pn) of periodic payments, the remaining time on the contract at termination (Rt), the identity (Ei) and class (Ec) of equipment which is the subject matter of the lease contract. Another database comprises all classes of equipment (Ec) owned by the lessor and the number of items of each class of equipment presently in inventory, the number of items of the class which are presently leased, the historical utilization rate of the class (Hu), the historical lease rate (Hlr), and the historical time to lease items of the class following return of item of the class to inventory after a previous lease is terminated (Ht). The computer calculates the value of the remaining periodic payments according to the lease contract (Rv) and a breakeven amount (Bv). The person handling the termination for the lessor then enters a termination fee, Ft, of either Rv, Bv, or an amount in between.

    摘要： A device which mounts on uprights which enables an individual, when gripping it, to go through the range of motion of the pronated pull up exercise easier than gripping a round bar, due to an increase in muscle capacity. This is made possible by having two knobs for the thumbs to grasp projecting from the top of the device next to the center sides of two curves cut out of the top of the rectangular body of the device. In use, the device is first mounted on uprights that are high enough so that the user is suspended from the ground when gripping the device. The user then wraps his or her fingers around the curved openings and clutches the thumb knobs with his or her thumbs and performs the pronated pull up exercise, strengthening the muscles of the trunk and arms and stretching the back. The thumb knobs allow increased use of the muscles attached to the thumb, the angle of the sides of the curves emphasize the use of the fingers with stronger muscles attached and the vertical surfaces below the curves steady the palms of the hands. This enables the user to get a stronger grip on the device than would be possible with a round bar allowing the user to perform the pronated pull up exercise easier. The user therefor is able to more easily experience therapeutic stretching of the back which occurs during the course of the pronated pull up exercise.

    摘要： A new and improved shopping cart release system is disclosed for use in collecting, transporting, removing and loading various types of carts and carriers. A release system is adapted for use with carts of the type configured for materials handling and a vehicle such as a semi-truck trailer used to transport such carts. The release system includes and a ramp that physically engages with a cart so as to retain the cart within the semi-trailer. An automated remote system may also be used, enabling an operator to release a cart without having to manipulate the release system directly. The release system is located within the floor of the semi-trailer. The release system can also be used in other arrangement, for example, within a liftgate mechanism that has the release system incorporated within the loading ramp of the liftgate. The release system utilized in the liftgate operates in the same manner as that of the release system incorporated within the floor of the bed of a semi-trailer truck.

    摘要： An apparatus and method for delivering video content to subscribers comprises capturing a video record comprising video content, analysis the captured video record to produce markers identifying events in the content thereof, editing the captured video record to produce a series of video clips each pertaining to one or more events identified by the markers, and converting the video clips into data in a format suitable for transmission over a network. The thus produced data representing the converted video clips and data representing the markers is stored on a server, as is a record of subscriptions by subscribers. At a user interface a subscriber can select video content from the video record by identifying events therein. When a selection is made the selected video data is read from the server with reference to the marker data, is encrypted and is sent over a network to the user interface. The subscriber's record of subscription is checked and, depending on the subscription, decryption data is sent to the user interface to enable the transmitted encrypted video data to be decrypted for display of the selected video content at the user interface.

The novel compositions are “biocontrol cocktails” that are combinations of antagonistic microorganisms and antifungal agents. Suitable microorganisms include yeasts such as Candida spp. Suitable antifungal agents include enzymes or combinations of enzymes such as lysozyme or lyticase. The compositions are applied to the plants either to prevent or cure infections caused by microorganisms such as fungi. Synergistic effects occur. The methods and compositions are comparable to or better than synthetic fungicides or to either agent alone.
