Abstract:
A method of raster-scan search for multi-region OSD and a system using the same are provided. The multi-region OSD is to be displayed on a screen after an alpha-blending of a mixer. The method includes at least following procedures. First, a global header search is executed in the first memory module for each or a portion of a plurality of search lines so as to determine a blending region and store header addresses of OSD regions in a second memory module. Next, whether there is a dummy region at the search line is determined. In addition, an alpha value for the dummy region, a dummy data of the dummy region and the OSD data of the OSD regions at the search line are transmitted to the mixer.
Abstract:
A testing system for testing a temperature characteristic of a first motor includes a second motor, a controller, a driver, a load, a temperature sensor, and a temperature recorder. The controller provides a drive command for the driver to drive the second motor. The second motor drives the first motor via a coupling. A current of the first motor is determined by adjusting the resistance of the load. The temperature sensor senses the temperatures of the first motor every a determined time and sends the temperatures to the temperature recorder. The temperature recorder records and transmits the temperatures to the controller for the temperature characteristic test of the first motor.

Abstract:
A data exchange method and system based on continuous machine-readable code, which transfers data between a first device and a second device. The first device has a display, and the second device has an image extractor. The first device divides data to be transferred into a plurality of blocks and converts the blocks into corresponding machine-readable codes. The second device uses the image extractor to continuously capture the machine-readable codes displayed on the display of the first device, respectively decodes the machine-readable codes to thereby obtain the blocks, and concatenates the blocks to thus obtain the data.
Abstract:
A method for examining a user's identity and/or administrating the access right(s) of a called function is disclosed. Before the called function is functioned in a computer system, the method redirects the executing procedure to an interception means, which further processes a user's identity verification and/or the access right(s) examination. Next, after confirming the identity and/or the access right(s), the called function is functioned. For example, by modifying the preceding operation codes, the called function can jump to the means for intercepting; a corresponding entry of executable file dynamic library import table is modified; a method for replacing the library with called function to be intercepted is introduced; and a callback function is provided to redirect the executing procedure to an identity verification/access control unit.
Abstract:
A heat dissipating module includes a casing and at least one fan. The casing includes a first casing body having at lease one air-guiding portion and at least one porous area. The air-guiding portion and the porous area are integrally formed as a monolithic unit. The fans are disposed within the casing and each fan is disposed with respect to each air-guiding portion, respectively. Each of the air-guiding portions has a first end connected to the first casing body, and a second end disposed around the porous area. Each of the porous areas has a plurality of holes for allowing air to enter the fans inside the casing along the air-guiding portion.
Abstract:
Embodiments include a test circuit to test one or more magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs) of a magnetic random access memory (MRAM). The test circuit may measure a 1/f noise of the MTJ in the time domain, and determine a power spectral density (PSD) of the 1/f noise. The test circuit may estimate one or more parameters of the MTJ and/or MRAM based on the PSD. For example, the test circuit may determine a noise parameter, such as a Hooge alpha parameter, based on the PSD, and may estimate the one or more parameters of the MTJ and/or MRAM based on the 1/f parameter. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.
Abstract:
A complex control device includes a wireless selfie shutter and a flasher detachably installed in the wireless selfie shutter. The wireless selfie shutter has a first shell, a starting key and two transmitting modules arranged in the first shell, and the transmitting modules are electrically connected to the starting key. The flasher has a second shell detachably installed on the first shell, an LED flash and a control module arranged in the second shell. The control module is electrically connected to the LED flash. When the flasher is separated from the wireless selfie shutter, the second shell is used for inserting into a connector jack of a mobile communication device, thereby respectively transmitting two starting signals of the transmitting modules to the mobile communication device and the control module of the flasher when the starting key is pressed. Additionally, the instant disclosure provides a selfie apparatus.
