    摘要: A turbine housing of an exhaust gas turbocharger includes an outer housing, in which an inner housing with a tubular nozzle and an outlet duct for connection to an exhaust gas system is arranged, wherein the outlet duct is coupled to the tubular nozzle via a sealing lip for relative movement. The sealing lip is inwardly evertedly pushed onto the nozzle and for positional fixing, a sliding sleeve is further arranged on the nozzle, wherein the sliding sleeve and the nozzle form a gap in which an end of the sealing lip is received. This avoids that the sealing lip lifts of due to pressure differences and thus that gas leaks occur. Further, an end of the sealing lip is arranged so as to be thermally protected.

    摘要: A modular exhaust gas assembly includes a turbocharger housing having an exhaust flange and a bearing flange receptacle, and a plurality of turbine scrolls of different sizes for selective installation into the turbocharger housing in dependence on a power of an engine. Each turbine scroll has an inlet zone and is connected to the bearing flange receptacle via a selected one of a plurality of different bearing flanges and to the exhaust flange via a selected one of a plurality of different exhaust links. The inlet zone of each turbine scroll is configured to complement a contour of an outlet zone of a standard manifold so that the turbine scrolls are selectively connectable via their inlet zone to the manifold to suit the engine power at hand.

    摘要: An exhaust system used for a motor vehicle and extending between an exhaust-generating internal combustion engine and an exhaust pipe for release of exhaust into the surrounding environment, includes a three-way catalytic converter disposed in proximity of the combustion engine, a NOx-adsorber disposed upstream of the exhaust pipe, and an exhaust line, which extends between the catalytic converter and the NOx-adsorber, for conducting exhaust. The exhaust line includes an inner tube, an outer tube in spaced-apart surrounding relationship to the inner tube to define a space, and a separation tube received in the space, to thereby define between the inner tube and the separation tube an inner annular gap for conducting exhaust, and between the outer tube and the separation tube an outer annular gap for conducting a coolant. A shut-off device is integrated in the inner tube for regulating the flow of exhaust through the inner tube.
