    摘要: The invention provides a method for manufacturing systems for displaying images. A representative system incorporates electroluminescent devices, comprising the following steps. A substrate having an active region and a pad region is provided. A thin film transistor is formed on the active region and a pad electrode is formed on the pad region, wherein the thin film transistor comprise a source electrode, a gate electrode, a drain electrode, and a gate insulator. A protective layer is formed on the active region and pad region. A planarization layer is formed on the active region and pad region, after forming color filter patterns on the protective layer on the active region. A first contact hole is formed to pass through the planarization layer of the active region, exposing the surface of the protective layer directly on the drain electrode. A drain via hole is formed to pass through the protective layer of the active region after the formation of the color filter patterns and the planarization layer, exposing the drain electrode. A pad via hole is formed to pass through the protective layer of the pad region after the formation of planarization layer, exposing the pad electrode.

    摘要: Systems for displaying images including a micro-reflective transmission liquid crystal display with improved reflection and reflective contrast ratio (CR). The micro-reflective transmission liquid crystal display comprises a first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first substrate comprises an array of three primary color sub-pixel regions and a white sub-pixel region. Each pixel region has a transistor and a storage capacitor with respect to the transistor. The storage capacitor with respect to the storage capacitor of the white sub-pixel region is disposed within the area of one of the three primary color sub-pixel regions.

    摘要: A top emission organic light emitting display with a reflective layer therein is provided. The reflective layer, a first electrode, an organic layer, and a transparent second electrode are subsequently formed on the substrate. When a bias voltage is applied to the first electrode and the transparent second electrode, the organic layer emits radiation. The reflective layer reflects radiation from the organic layer toward the transparent second electrode, and therefore the emission efficiency of the OLED increases.

    摘要: This invention relates to a method for fabricating a color filter by using the theory of surface tension. The surface tension is very small when hydrophobic material is on hydrophobic surface and the surface tension is very large when hydrophobic material is on hydrophilic surface. It avoids to blurry with the printed hydrophobic color materials and can get fine color filter with excellent color reappearance when the surface of pixel area is a hydrophobic surface and the surface of non-pixel area is a hydrophilic surface. This invention comprises: forming a dielectric layer on substrate; forming a plurality of scan lines and a plurality of data lines on substrate to define a plurality of pixel areas and a non-pixel area; forming a hydrophobic surface on the plurality of pixel areas; forming a hydrophilic surface on the non-pixel area; and using ink-jet printing method to print the hydrophobic color materials on the plurality of areas.
