摘要： A camera capable of automatic film rewinding into the magazine, comprises an information recording device for recording at least information on use in an information recording portion formed at a predetermined position of the magazine loaded in the magazine chamber of the camera, an information detecting device capable of detecting recorded information of the magazine when it is loaded, a prohibition device for prohibitng the photographing operation in response to a detection signal corresponding to information, indicating that all the film is already used, detected by the information detecting device and a control device for controlling the information recording device, information detecting device and prohibition device in such a manner that the detection by the information detecting device is conducted prior to the recording of information of use by the information recording device, and that the photographing operation is prohibited in response to the detection of information indicating that all the film is already used.

摘要： An auto-focus camera with compensation for object movement along the optic axis of the photo-taking lens determines whether the object speed is greater than a predetermined value. If the result of the determination is negative, normal photography is performed in which a combination of shutter speed and aperture diameter provides a proper exposure in accordance with photometric data. If the result of the determination is affirmative, the aperture is stopped down to a predetermined diameter small enough to provide a large depth of field, and flash photography is performed.

摘要： A camera is capable of recording plural kinds of data at corresponding positions of each film frame. In a first operating mode a first kind of data is recorded at a first position in the film frame disposed at an exposure location, and film feeding is started. Film feeding is suspended temporarily, and a second kind of data is recorded at a second position of the frame. Then film feeding continues to bring a subsequent frame to the exposure location. If no second kind of data is to be recorded or if no data of any kind is to be recorded, the film feeding is not temporarily suspended. Data recording may occur in the course of film winding or film rewinding. Some or all of the data may be stored before recording, and the order of the recording of kinds of data may be changed, e.g., at the last frame of the film. In some embodiments the film is rewound by a fraction of a frame before recording of a second kind of data.

摘要： A camera having a multiple speed film driving mechanism that can accurately read film data on a film cartridge. The camera has a motor that drives a spool axis of the film cartridge, and a reading device that can read film data stored on a recording medium on the film cartridge. When the film cartridge is loaded into the camera, the reading device reads film data on the recording medium that is rotated together with the spool axis at a first speed. When film data reading is finished, the spool axis is rotated at a second speed to feed the film into the camera. A motor drive control circuit and CPU controls spool axis rotation at multiple speeds and directions.
