A liquid cooled heat sink for electronic circuit boards is described. A heat sink base includes a liquid cooling arrangement to remove heat from the base. An arrangement of cooling fins extends from the base, and at least one surface of each fin includes a thermal interface layer. The arrangement is adapted so that the fins fit between parallel electronic circuit boards such that for each circuit board, a thermal contact layer of a fin contacts multiple components on the circuit board so as to conduct heat from the components into the fin, which in turn transfers heat to the heat sink base.

A method of forming a SOI wafer obtains an intermediate apparatus having a first wafer, a second wafer, and an insulator material bonding the first and second wafers together. The first wafer has an oxygen precipitate concentration sufficient for gettering. The method reduces the profile of at least a portion of the first wafer to form an exposed surface, and adds a layer of material to the exposed surface of the first wafer. The layer of material substantially integrates with the first wafer to have substantially the same structure.

An Internet Protocol (IP) multimedia subsystem for use in a telecommunication network. The IP multimedia subsystem comprises: 1) an IP switch for receiving Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) messages from an external IP network; and 2) a plurality of call application nodes capable of executing a plurality of service applications groups. The IP switch distributes the SIP messages to the plurality of call application nodes according to a load-sharing algorithm.

The method comprises receiving first image data for the image where the first image data is associated with a first color space, converting the first image data to second image data associated with a second color space, generating first and second sub-frames using the second image data, and alternating between displaying the first sub-frame in a first position and displaying the second sub-frame in a second position spatially offset from the first position.

The present invention is drawn to a solid freeform fabrication system for producing a three-dimensional object. The system can include a dispensing system and a curing system. The dispensing system can be adapted to separately dispense build material and support material, wherein the build material and the support material are adapted to contact one another at an interface after being dispensed. The curing system can be adapted to harden the build material after being dispensed but before the support material is dispensed, wherein mixing between the build material and the support material is inhibited at the interface.

The present invention discloses an apparatus and related method for making a spray-formed article in which a mold that is the inverse of the article is coated by a metallic spray. Specifically, this inverse mold is placed on a rotatable indexing table that is rotated in discrete increments as the mold is coated with the metallic spray. The mold is rotated one or more times until the exposed surface of the mold is coated with a sufficient amount of metallic coating.
