Abstract:
Integration of a virtual flyover and a virtual tour of a location through creation of a combined video sequence are provided. The combined video seamlessly transitions a virtual flyover of an area into a virtual tour of the interior of an object, such as a house or building. Sequences of images corresponding to the virtual flyover or even a proprietary virtual flyover file format are converted into a video file format and then combined with a sequence of images from the virtual tour to create a combined video of the virtual flyover and virtual tour. The combined video labels locations of interest through the video, provides narrations and can also integrate a street-level view into the combined video to provide a user with a singular video tour of a location of interest and a surrounding area which may be viewed on any computer, portable electronic device or television.
Abstract:
An adjustable accessory fence for a miter saw includes a generally rectangular, elongated arm having a front surface, an opposing rear surface, a stop extending from the rear surface, a tapered end, an opening extending between the front and rear surfaces, and a plurality of threads disposed within the opening. A threaded set screw engages the threads of the arm and adjustably projects from the rear surface of the arm. The arm is detachably coupled to a cutting fence of the miter saw. The arm pivots about the stop when the set screw is adjusted to project from the rear surface of the arm and contact the cutting fence, the front surface of the arm providing a cutting guide having an adjustable angular relationship with respect to the cutting fence, said angular relationship being established by the projecting position of the set screw.
Abstract:
Structure and method of structure in which a contact, e.g., low resistance; ohmic; resulting in Schottky isolation, is coupled to a doped region that is buried in a substrate. In a bipolar transistor having a collector region formed below an upper surface of a substrate, a trench is formed through a portion of the collector region, and the sidewall(s) and/or bottom of the trench are doped, e.g., by ion implantation or dopant. The trench is filled with a conductor, e.g., a refractory metal such as tungsten.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a triple well CMOS device structure that addresses the issue of latchup by adding an n+ buried layer not only beneath the p-well to isolate the p-well from the p− substrate but also beneath the n-well. The structure eliminates the spacing issues between the n-well and n+ buried layer by extending the n+ buried layer below the entire device. The structure also addresses the issue of threshold voltage scattering by providing a p+ buried layer below the entire device under the n+ buried layer or below the p-well side of the device only either under or above the n+ buried layer) Latchup robustness can further be improved by incorporating into the device an isolation structure that eliminates lateral pnp, npn, or pnpn devices and/or a sub-collector region between the n+ buried layer and the n-well.
Abstract:
One embodiment of a display system includes a control module that controls a position of an adjustable neutral density filter based on a calculated filter setting and that controls modulation of a set of frame data by an image modulator based on a calculated gain setting, and an image analysis module that calculates a gain setting and a filter setting for the set of frame data and forwards the calculated gain setting and the filter setting to said control module.
Abstract:
Solid freeform fabrication systems, powder supply bins for solid freeform fabrication systems, and methods of solid freeform fabrication are disclosed. One exemplary solid freeform fabrication system includes a removable powder supply bin, a build bin, a roller, and a print head disposed above the build bin that deposits a binder onto the powder in the build bin in a preselected pattern.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for examining at least one object during which properties of the object are detected at different times within a spatial frequency space formed by spatial frequencies. According to the invention, the method is carried out in such a manner that temporally consecutive recordings ensue in overlapping regions of the spatial frequency space and additionally in regions of the spatial frequency space that differ from one another.
