摘要： A process for the preparation of a 5-acylpyrimidine of the formula ##STR1## in which R is an organic radical comprising reacting a methyl ketone of the formulaR--CO--Ch.sub.3 in a first stage with a formylating reagent in the presence of a base to form an enolketone of the formulaR--CO--CH.dbd.CH--OR.sup.10in whichR.sup.10 represents hydrogen or a base radical, thereafter reacting the enolketone in 2nd and 3rd stages with formamidine or a formamidine salt, and with an amino-formylating agent, and, in a 4th stage heating to cyclize the compound formed.The end products, some of which are new, are intermediates for making herbicides.

摘要： According to the present invention 1-hydroxyethyl azole compounds are provided for in a process characterized by reacting an oxirane of the general formula ##STR1## in which R represents an alkyl radical, an optionally substituted cycloalkyl radical or an optionally substituted phenyl radical,Y represents a grouping --OCH.sub.2 --, --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 -- or --CH.dbd.CH--,Z represents a halogen atom, an alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, halogenoalkyl, halogenoalkoxy or halogenoalkylthio radical, an optionally substituted phenyl radical, an optionally substituted phenoxy radical, an optionally substituted phenylalkyl radical or an optionally substituted phenylalkoxy radical andm is 0, 1, 2 or 3, with an azole of the general formula ##STR2## in which X represents a nitrogen atom or a CH group.

摘要： Compounds which are ether derivatives of substituted 1-hydroxyalkyl-azoles, of the general formula ##STR1## in which A represents a nitrogen atom or a CH group,B represents oxygen, sulphur or a CH.sub.2 group,R.sup.1 represents a substituted alkyl, optionally substituted cycloalkyl or optionally substituted phenyl radical or, if either A represents a nitrogen atom, or if A represents the CH group and at the same B represents oxygen or sulphur, R.sup.1 also represents an unsubstituted alkyl radical,R.sup.2 represents an alkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, optionally substituted phenyl or optionally substituted benzyl radical,Z represents a halogen atom or an alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, halogenoalkyl, halogenoalkoxy, halogenoalkylthio, optionally substituted phenoxy, optionally substituted phenylalkyl or optionally substituted phenylalkoxy radical andm is 0, 1, 2 or 3,and acid addition salts and metal salt complexes thereof, are novel, are prepared as described, and fine use as fungicides and as agents for regulating plant growth.
