Abstract: A method and network node for obtaining a target transmission path, where the method includes obtaining, by a first network node in a network domain, topology information of a plurality of network nodes on each path between an ingress node and an egress node that are in the network domain, obtaining, by the first network node, a transmission delay of each path according to the topology information, where the transmission delay of each path includes a sum of physical link delays between all network nodes on each path and node residence times of all the network nodes on each path, and determining, by the first network node, the target transmission path according to the transmission delay of each path.

A first routing device obtains a first packet sent by a second routing device, where the first packet carries a first correspondence, creates a forwarding entry that includes the first correspondence, receives a modified packet and determines an ID of a destination service function (SF) of the modified packet, queries the forwarding entry according to the ID of the destination SF, and determines that an SF identified by the ID of the destination SF is an SF connected to a second routing device, and forwards the modified packet to the second routing device.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, an apparatus, and a system for selecting a network device. The method includes: receiving, by a second network device, a network device selection message sent by a first network device, where the network device selection message contains a VLAN mapping capability identifier of the first network device; and selecting, by the second network device, according to the VLAN mapping capability identifier and local VLAN mapping capability, a network device for executing VLAN mapping. By using the technical solutions provided in the embodiments of the present invention, execution of VLAN mapping for a bidirectional pseudo wire (PW) between two network devices on a same network device may be implemented, and there are only two VLAN identifiers on the bidirectional PW, thereby ensuring consistency of VLAN mapping and making it simpler and easier to maintain and detect the PW.

Abstract: This application relates to the field of communications technologies, and discloses a service forwarding method and a network device that performs such method. The method includes: forwarding, by a first network device, a data packet of a first service to a second network device in a period (T1); and if the data volume of the forwarded first service reaches a threshold, forwarding, by the first network device, a data packet of a second service to the second network device. The first service is a low-latency service, and the second service is a non-low-latency service. In addition, the period (T1) is determined based on a delay allowed by a device for forwarding the data packet of the first service, and the threshold is a value determined based on a maximum transmission rate of the first service.
