摘要: Deploying a point of presence (PoP) changes traffic flow to a cloud service provider. To determine if the PoP improves the performance of a cloud service to a client, actual network latencies between the client and the cloud service are measured. In more complex scenarios, multiple PoPs are used. The client sends multiple requests for the same content to the cloud provider. The requests are sent via different routes. The cloud provider serves the requests and collates the latency information. Based on the latency information, a route for a future request is selected, resources are allocated, or a user interface is presented. The process of determining the latency for content delivered by different routes may be repeated for content of different sizes. A future request is routed along the network path that provides the lowest latency for the data being requested.

摘要: A method is disclosed for autonomously discovering and utilizing low-latency routing paths in a distributed data routing network. The method includes automatically measuring one-way latencies between a plurality of nodes, and automatically calculating relay health scores of potential relayed data routing paths in the distributed network. A relayed data routing path is automatically selected based on the one-way latencies and relay health scores of potential relayed data routing paths. A relay health score for a potential relayed data routing path is based on uptimes of the potential relay node, or bandwidths, jitters, data package losses, or amount of data routed through the routing segments in the potential relayed data routing path. The selected relayed routing path has a routing health score that meets a pre-determined criterion. The selected relayed data routing path has a total one-way latency smaller than a one-way latency associated with in a direct path.

摘要: Described embodiments provide systems and methods for path selection proportional to a penalty delay in processing packets. A server-side intermediary may identify a delay penalty for processing packets of a server destined for a client. The server-side intermediary may be in communication via links of different latencies with a client-side intermediary. The server-side intermediary may select a second link with a latency that deviates from the lowest latency of a first link by the delay penalty. The server-side intermediary may transmit, to the client-side intermediary, duplicates of the packets via the selected second link with information indicating to hold the duplicates at the client-side intermediary. The server-side intermediary may receive an indication to drop or send the duplicates to the client. The server-side intermediary may transmit the indication to the client-side intermediary to drop or send the duplicates according to the indication.

摘要: A computer-implemented method includes receiving a routing request with respect to a base management node of a customer and an avatar of a customer, generating a first virtual network interface corresponding to the base management node, generating a second virtual network interface corresponding to the avatar, the first virtual network interface and the second virtual network interface communicatively coupled by a network tunnel, and providing the customer with access to the information technology resource via the network tunnel. The method may also include transmitting a request to a connection broker, receiving a set of initialization data, constructing a virtual network interface, and transferring data through a network tunnel via the virtual network interface.

摘要: An apparatus for transmitting content includes a content request transmitter to transmit a request message for content requested by a client device to content servers, a response delay time calculator to calculate a response delay time of each content server on the basis of a response message of each content server for the request message, a byte range determiner to determine one or more content servers to which a byte range request for the content is to be transmitted, from among the content servers, on the basis of the response message and/or the response delay time and determine a size of a byte range request and the number of byte range request for each content server, and a content acquirer to acquire the content from the content servers through the byte range request based on the size of a byte range request and the number of byte range requests.

摘要: This application provides a latency-based transmission path control method, an apparatus, and a system. Device latencies of network node devices on an active transmission path, device latencies of network node devices on a standby transmission path, latencies of links between the network node devices on the active transmission path, and latencies of links between the network node devices on the active transmission path are obtained, and calculation is performed based on the respective device latencies and link latencies to obtain an active transmission path latency and a standby transmission path latency. Then, based on a latency-based switching mechanism, when the active transmission path latency is greater than a switching threshold and the standby transmission path latency is less than the switching threshold, an active-to-standby path switching command is generated.
