    Abstract: A multi-antenna operation mode indication method and an apparatus resolve a problem that increased power consumption and a resource waste are caused because a terminal device still operates in a multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) mode by default in a single-port transmission mode. The method includes: a network device sends indication information to a terminal device, to indicate that a multi-antenna operation mode of the terminal device is single-user multiple-input multiple-output (SU-MIMO) or MU-MIMO. The terminal device determines, based on the indication information from the network device, whether a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) port number corresponding to the terminal device and a DMRS port number not corresponding to the terminal device are allocated to another terminal device, to adjust the multi-antenna operation mode.

    Abstract: This application relates to a communication method and apparatus. A terminal device sends first uplink data to a network device. After sending the first uplink data, the terminal device monitors a first downlink control channel in a first search space in a first duration; and after the first duration ends, the terminal device monitors a second downlink control channel in a second search space in a second duration. A length of a periodicity of the second search space is greater than a length of a periodicity of the first search space. In this case, the terminal device monitors the second downlink control channel based on the second search space at a low frequency. Therefore, the second search space with a long periodicity is set, so that power consumption of monitoring the downlink control channel by the terminal device can be reduced.

    Abstract: A data transmission method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: A terminal device sends a message 1 to a first network device, where the message 1 includes a random access preamble. The terminal device receives DCI and a message 2 scheduled by the DCI from the first network device, where the message 2 includes downlink data, the DCI and/or the message 2 include/includes first information, and the first information is used to schedule ACK/NACK feedback information of the message 2. The terminal device sends the ACK/NACK feedback information to the first network device based on the first information. According to the foregoing method, the first information is used to schedule the ACK/NACK feedback information. Therefore, the terminal device may send the ACK/NACK feedback information of the message 2 to the first network device in an MT-EDT scenario and based on the first information included in the DCI and/or the message 2, to improve robustness of transmission of the downlink data in the message 2.
