Abstract: This application discloses a reference signal transmission method and an apparatus. A network node sends reference signals by mapping the reference signals to at least one resource unit, where the at least one resource unit includes a plurality of sub-resource units; and the network node receives, from the terminal, measurement information related to part of the plurality of sub-resource units. The terminal selects, based on configuration information of the reference signals, part of the measurement information to report, so that a quantity of channel resources occupied by the measurement information is reduced.

Abstract: This application provides a communication method and an apparatus. The communication method includes: receiving, by user equipment, first indication information from a network device, where the first indication information indicates a first resource; determining, by the user equipment, a second resource, where the second resource and the first resource belong to a same resource set configured by the network device, and the first resource and the second resource are used to transmit a first downlink reference signal; and receiving, by the user equipment on a third resource, a second signal and/or channel transmitted by using a third antenna port, where the third antenna port has a quasi co-location QCL relationship with a second antenna port used when the first downlink reference signal is transmitted on the second resource.

Abstract: This application provides a communication method, a terminal, and a network device. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal, indication information from a network device, where the indication information includes an identifier of at least one reference signal; and determining, by the terminal, that there is a correspondence between a resource used to send a first channel and a first reference signal of the at least one reference signal, where the first channel is a channel to be transmitted by the terminal, and there is a spatial quasi co-location (QCL) relationship between a port of the first channel and a port of the first reference signal, or there is a spatial QCL relationship between a port of a demodulation reference signal of the first channel and a port of the first reference signal.

Abstract: Embodiments provide a method for transmitting a reference signal between a base station and a terminal. In this method, a parameter is determined by a terminal based on frequency domain location information of a frequency domain resource unit. The parameter is used to determine a sequence of the reference signal, and the reference signal is carried on the frequency domain resource unit. The reference signal can be sent to the base station by the terminal. In some embodiments, the reference signal sent by the base station can be received by the terminal. According to this method, a peak-to-average power ratio when a single terminal sends data to a base station can be reduced, and communication interference between different cells can be canceled or reduced as much as possible.

Abstract: This application provides a method for reporting port information, a terminal device, and a network device. The method includes: determining, by a terminal device, an uplink signal, where the uplink signal includes information about a phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) port of the terminal device, or the uplink signal includes information about the PTRS port and information about a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) port, or the uplink signal includes a correspondence between the PTRS port and the DMRS port; and sending, by the terminal device, the uplink signal to a network device. In embodiments of this application, the terminal device reports the uplink signal to the network device, so that the network device does not need to configure different PTRS ports for DMRS ports, to avoid configuring excessive PTRS ports, thereby saving PTRS port resources.

Abstract: This application provides a communication method, a network device, and a relay device for relay devices to discover one another. A first network device determines a first resource, where the first resource includes a resource used by a second network device to send a first signal to a second relay device, or the first resource includes a resource configured by the second network device for a first signal with zero power. The first network device sends first configuration information to a first relay device, where the first configuration information is used by the first relay device to determine a second resource for sending a second signal, and the second resource is a part or all of the first resource.
