Abstract: This application discloses a reference signal configuration method and apparatus. Before a network device sends reference signals aperiodically, the network device sends configuration information to a terminal device, where the configuration information is used to indicate a timeslot offset of one or more reference signal resource sets. Therefore, the network device can flexibly send reference signals in different timeslots, thereby reducing a quantity of times of reference signal triggering and measurement result reporting, and improving efficiency of a communications system.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a precoding matrix determining method and apparatus, to determine a stage-1 precoding matrix based on indication information that is of a spatial correlation matrix and that is fed back by a terminal, thereby implementing three-dimensional precoding based on a channel state and increasing a channel capacity. The method includes: sending, by a base station, a plurality of groups of first reference signals, where the plurality of groups of first reference signals are in a one-to-one correspondence with a plurality of dimensions of an antenna array, and each of the plurality of groups of first reference signals is used by a terminal to estimate spatial correlation matrix information in a corresponding dimension; receiving the spatial correlation matrix information fed back by the terminal based on the plurality of groups of first reference signals; and determining a stage-1 precoding matrix based on the spatial correlation matrix information.

Abstract: A method for indicating downlink control signaling and a related device are provided. The method includes: transmitting indication information indicating a data distribution manner selected from a first data distribution manner and a second data distribution manner; performing data transmission with a terminal device according to the data distribution manner indicated by the indication information; wherein the data distribution manner indicating a distribution of modulation symbols of a code block (CB) on one or more orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols of at least one resource unit, the one or more OFDM symbols are consecutive in time-domain; and wherein modulation symbols distributed on a same OFDM symbol of the one or more OFDM symbols are interleaved in frequency-domain according to the first data distribution manner and are not interleaved in the frequency-domain according to the second data distribution manner.

Abstract: This application provides a technical solution for rank indication, and especially when a CQI number is not configured or a CQI number is 1, a network device configures a rank indication restriction parameter as that at least one of ranks whose index numbers are 0, 1, 2, and 3 is allowed to be reported by the terminal device; or even if the network device does not perform the foregoing configuration, and none of the ranks whose index numbers are 0, 1, 2, and 3 is allowed to be reported, the terminal device may select at least one rank for RI reporting, so as to resolve a problem that a system cannot work. In addition, according to embodiments of this application, bit overheads required for RI reporting may further be reduced.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a downlink control information transmission method in which after receiving one piece of downlink control information (DCI), the terminal device learns whether blind detection of DCI needs to be continued. Alternatively the configuration information may include one or more antenna port groups, and each of the one or more antenna port groups includes one or more antenna ports.
