摘要： Where DIR couplers corresponding to formula I are used in color photographic silver halide materials, good edge effects and interimage effects are obtained. ##STR1## In formula (I), A represents halogen, --OR, --SR, --CN, --COR, --CONHR, --COOR, --SO.sub.2 R, --SO.sub.2 NHR, ##STR2## R represents alkyl, aralkyl, aryl or hetaryl; Q represents a substituent for compelting a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic ring;D and E, which may be the same or different, represent substituents attached to the C atom of the C.dbd.N group by a C, O, S or N atom, including those substituents which, together with the C atom of the C.dbd.N group, complete a carbocyclic or heterocyclic ring;Y represents a group having a silver halide development inhibiting function which is releasable during color development.

摘要： The invention relates to a photographic recording material comprising a layer support and, arranged thereon, at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer which contains an antifogging agent corresponding to formula (I) ##STR1## in which A, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are as defined in the specification. The antifogging agents according to the invention reduce fogging without significantly affecting gradation and improve the staility of the photographic material in storage.

摘要： Positive images including color images are obtained by imagewise exposure and development of a material which comprises at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer which contains an unfogged direct-positive silver halide emulsion, when the development is carried out in the presence of a fogging agent of the formula ##STR1## wherein the symbols are defined as hereinafter. The fogging agent is preferably contained in a layer of the material and more preferably in the unfogged direct-positive silver halide emulsion layer. For the production of color instant images the material may also contain non-diffusible color providing compounds capable in their oxidized form of being split under alkaline photographic development conditions to release diffusible dyes.
