摘要: A process for removal and conversion into sulfur of hydrogen sulfide in a gaseous or liquid material which comprises essentially treating the said material with a nitrohumic acid or its salt prepared by treating humic acid with a nitrating agent and, if necessary, converting the resultant into an alkaline salt. The process is advantageous essentially in that hydrogen sulfide can be removed economically and converted into sulfur, and that the desulfurization agent, i.e. a nitrohumic acid or its salt is non-toxic and non-corrosive.

摘要: A deposit managing unit 22 receives a game player's deposit command transmitted from a terminal device 12 and deposits virtual currency in a deposit amount specified by the game player according to the received deposit command. In addition, the deposit managing unit 22 prohibits the game player from using the virtual currency deposited by the game player until a predetermined deposit period expires. When a depositing game player deposits virtual currency, a benefit offering unit 24 offers the depositing game player a benefit that gives a higher advantage to the depositing game player in battle until the deposit period expires in comparison to a case where the depositing game player does not deposit virtual currency.

摘要: A character reader recognition data extracting device for use in an optical character reader system for reading characters printed in magnetized ink. Characters printed in magnetized ink on a substrate are magnetized with a magnetic polarity opposite that of stray magnetic particles which may adhere to a conveying roll for the substrate. Signals produced at the output of the magnetic head due to the presence of the stray particles are discriminated from those produced in response to the characters due to the differences in magnetic polarity. A processing circuit is disclosed which operates upon the output signal from the magnetic head to provide digital signals representative of the sensed characters. This circuit includes a sample-and-hold circuit, an offset circuit and comparators which compare the output of the sample-and-hold circuit shifted by the offset circuit with the unshifted signal at a prior sampling period.

摘要: The present invention relates to a record/playback device for magnetic recording of manual drive type in which information can be exchanged while a magnetic card is manually being driven. In the device according to the present invention a write-only magnetic head and a read-only magnetic head are provided in a magnetic card path formed within the device. Writing of information into the magnetic card is done by said write-only head, while reading of information out of the magnetic card is done by said read-only head. Of these two magnetic heads, the one for write-in is located at a specific height above the fixed card guide formed at the deepest end of the magnetic card path, while the one for read-out is located at a greater height than the one for write-in. Between these two heads there is provided a movable card guide which is free to move along the magnetic card path. When the movable card guide goes into the magnetic card path, the magnetic card guide surface of the movable card guide runs parallel to the magnetic card guide surface of the fixed card guide. Thus when a magnetic card runs along the fixed card guide, information is written into this magnetic card. When it runs along the movable card guide, information is read out of it.

摘要: A process for the removal and conversion into sulfur of hydrogen sulfide in a gaseous or liquid material which comprises essentially treating the said material with an oxidative lignin prepared by treating lignins with oxidizing agents, nitrating agents and/or demethylating agents and, if desired, introducing hydrophilic groups into the resultant product. The lignins include protolignin, isolated lignins and other denatured lignins. The process is advantageous essentially in that hydrogen sulfide can be removed economically and converted completely into sulfur, and that the desulfurization agents, i.e. the oxidative lignins, are non-toxic and non-corrosive.

摘要: A fractional-N frequency synthesizer is offered which does not produce spurious signals of periodically conspicuous spectral intensities and can cancel produced spurious signals up to a practical level even with a spurious-canceling circuit of low accuracy. The synthesizer has a sigma-delta noise shaper. The integral and fractional parts of a frequency divide ratio-setting value that frequency-divides the output signal are set. The fractional part of the frequency divide ratio-setting value is applied to the sigma-delta noise shaper every phase comparison period. The output from the noise shaper and the integral part of the frequency divide ratio-setting value are summed up to thereby produce a sum. The output signal is frequency-divided, using this sum as a frequency divide ratio. The difference between the fractional part of the frequency divide ratio-setting value and the output from the sigma-delta noise shaper is produced and accumulated in an accumulator every phase comparison period. The spurious-canceling value is produced based on the value of the accumulator.
