    摘要: An automatic exposure control apparatus for controlling the diaphragm of the camera in accordance with the preselected shutter time and the exposure value, in which a digital-to-analog converter having a counter responsive to the number of pulses supplied from a clock pulse generator through a gate produces a time variable output capable of attaining a certain level dependent upon the preselected shutter time and a light value as photoelectrically sensed, that is, an exposure value and, which is detected by a first comparator. The output of the first comparator is applied to the gate, so that the converter is set to memorize the exposure value therein. As the diaphragm presetting ring is moved from the maximum to minimum aperture position with production of a time variable output from a signal generator associated therewith, a second comparator responsive to the attainment of the time variable output of the signal generator to a level dependent upon the final output of the set converter produces an output which is applied to arresting means for the diaphragm presetting ring. This results in automatic adjustment of the position of the presetting ring. At the time the presetting ring begins to move, the diaphragm driving means is actuated causing the diaphragm means to be brought into engagement with the ring. Thus, an effective exposure aperture is established in the diaphragm means.

    摘要: An automatic exposure control apparatus of electric type for a photographic camera having an exposure control parameter setting means cooperative with a geometrical progression scale in isometric graduation is provided with a resistor device. The device includes a variable resistor having a grounded slider associated with the setting means upon movement thereof for providing a resistor value proportional to the amount of movement of the setting means, but to the reciprocal logarithm of the preselected parameter value. In order to minimize the complexity of a computer circuit responsive to the various outputs of the resistor device for performing photographic Appex computation, a bias voltage is applied to each of the variable resistors in a manner to produce a signal in the form of current proportional to the reciprocal of the amount of movement of the setting means. The resistor device has a single substrate having a plurality of resistor elements formed thereon by a metal coating technique and arranged for cooperation with respective sliders, thereby improving the exposure control accuracy and stabilization of the performance of the computer circuit against variation of temperature distribution in the apparatus.

    摘要: A photographic camera having a magnetic actuating device associated with an electronic control device for initiating a release of one or more of the camera mechanisms from the cocked position thereof. In one embodiment of the invention, the magnetic actuating device comprises a single magnetic winding with a core material having a substantially rectangular hysteresis loop, and an armature of which the movement is controlled by the polarity of the magnetic winding and which is connected to spring-biased means for latching the mechanism in the cocked position. After the core is magnetized by applying a voltage to the magnetic winding for a relatively short period to hold the armature with the latching means in the cocked position against the force of the spring, the magnetic winding is energized by an output of the opposite polarity from the electronic control device causing the armature to move away from the core, whereby the release of the mechanism is initiated.

    摘要: In a camera provided with a day-light exposure range and with a flash exposure range, an automatic exposure control system for controlling the iris of the camera in accordance with a computed exposure value and a preselected shutter time is associated with a flash exposure time range bracketing device in order to insure that the formation of a correct flash exposure aperture is effected with automatic selection of one of the bracketed exposure times despite an accidentally incorrect setting of the shutter dial of the camera which may be encountered particularly when the day-light exposure range is to be left for the flash exposure range without the necessary manipulation of the shutter dial therefor. The bracketing device of the present invention comprises three timing circuits in combination with a selector responsive to the position of the shutter dial for selecting either the first, or the second, or the third timing circuit for cooperation with an electronic switch controlling the period of actuation of the camera shutter when the shutter dial is set either within, or on the faster side of, or on the slower side of a possible flash exposure time range respectively, whereby the resultant actuation period is equal to either the shutter time preselected on the shutter dial, or the faster limit of, or the slower limit of the flash exposure time range respectively.

    摘要: The device includes a permanent magnet for attracting a movable iron armature. A pair of elongated rectilinear magnetic bodies have planar pole faces at one end facing the iron armature, and the permanent magnet is sandwiched between these two magnetic members intermediate their ends, with the permanent magnet extending perpendicularly to the magnetic members. Respective magnetizing windings embrace each magnetic member between the permanent magnet and the pole faces of the members, to produce a magnetic flux in the magnetic members opposing the flux provided by the permanent magnet so as to release the iron armature. In one embodiment of the invention, the other ends of the members, projecting beyond the permanent magnet, are angled to face each other to provide an air gap therebetween. In a second embodiment of the invention, the magnetic members or yokes have respective second windings thereon, beyond the permanent magnet, and the ends of these yokes, beyond the second windings, are formed with planar pole faces for operative association with a second iron armature. Both iron armatures are spring biased to disengage the magnetic yokes or members. As the permanent magnet engages the yokes intermediate their ends, the magnetic flux path due to the magnetizing windings does not include the permanent magnet and therefore an effective armature releasing magnetic flux can be provided with only a relatively small current supplied to the magnetizing windings.

    摘要: The disclosed camera power control devices operate with a camera in which a first switch responds to initial movement of a shutter release member, and a second switch responds to further movement of the release member. In the power control device, turning the first switch on energizes the light metering and display circuits, and turning on the second switch supplies an exposure control circuit such as a shutter control circuit with electrical energy. The power control device is provided with an electrical timer circuit, and a selection arrangement operates to selectively actuate the timer circuit when the release member is returned to its rest position and the first switch changes is state from ON to OFF. During a period of time determined by the timer circuit, power continues to be supplied to operate the light metering and display circuits.
