摘要: A laser head is provided in the vicinity of an ejection head. A laser beam radiated by the laser head reaches a substrate reflecting position on a surface of the substrate at a critical angle and is then totally reflected by the substrate toward the ejection head. After having been reflected by the substrate, the laser beam is totally reflected by a reflective surface of a nozzle plate toward the substrate. The laser beam thus reaches a radiating position on the surface of the substrate at a radiating angle (the critical angle).

摘要: A moving distance is determined based on the time required by a deposited fine droplet to reach a target dot diameter and the velocity at which a movable stage is moved. An aperture is located at a position spaced from a nozzle, which ejects a droplet, by a distance equal to the moving distance. A light-transmissive liquid filling the aperture functions as a liquid lens for focusing a laser beam on a blot of a droplet. The light-transmissive liquid discharged from the aperture is used to clean a nozzle surface of an ejection head.

摘要: Exemplary embodiments enable formation of a uniform film and a pattern with a minute line width and generate no or substantially no quality defects, such as disconnection. A droplet is discharged from a droplet discharging head to apply in a predetermined region on a surface of a substrate while relatively moving the droplet discharging head and the substrate. The droplet is discharged with respect to the surface of the substrate in a direction intersecting with a vertical direction, and when relatively moving the droplet discharging head and the substrate to discharge the droplet, the droplet is discharged along the relative movement direction.

摘要: The present invention is intended to provide a method of manufacturing an ink jet head having good stable-ejection characteristics, and an ink jet head. The invention is an exemplary method of manufacturing an ink jet head having a cavity that contains liquid and a nozzle that communicates with the cavity, and ejecting the liquid contained in the cavity from an ejection orifice of the nozzle with using a nozzle opening at an opposite side of the cavity as the ejection orifice. The exemplary method includes making an ejection orifice on a side of the nozzle have a taper portion in which the diameter increases progressively toward the ejection orifice side and forming lyophobic films and lyophilic films alternately on the taper portion inside the nozzle so as to form a stack film, and forming a lyophobic film inside nozzle in which annular end surfaces of the lyophobic films and annular end surfaces of the lyophilic films are exposed alternately by grinding the stack film on the taper portion to expose a side section of the stack film.

摘要: An information processing device, a method of saving and loading data, and an information recording medium are provided. A volatile memory means of an information processing device of this invention stores data in a volatile manner. A nonvolatile memory device stores data in a nonvolatile manner. A determination unit determines a cause of a reset which has been generated. A saving unit saves the data stored in the volatile memory device into the nonvolatile memory device when the cause of the reset is a specified cause, and operation of the information processing device is stopped by a stopping unit. A loading unit loads the data stored in the nonvolatile memory device to the volatile memory device when the cause of the reset is not a specified cause, and operation of an operating system of the information processing device is started by a starting unit. A program which implements the information processing device is recorded on an information recording medium.

摘要: Commands, which are stored in a queue within controllers in order of acquisition, are transmitted to mechanical I/F units (steps (1) and (2) in FIG. 7). A determination portion in each mechanical I/F unit determines whether or not the command is an internal command (for example, an error command) which is generated in the controllers. If the command is the internal command, the command is directly output to the mechanical controller. In contrast, if the command is not the internal command, a virtual mechanical controller outputs the command through synchronization processing for confirming whether the commands issued from the controllers are synchronized (steps (3) to (7) in FIG. 7).
