摘要: An image processing apparatus is disclosed. In the apparatus, image data are stored in an image storage unit, the image data in the image storage unit are transmitted to a specified server for backup when processing of the image data such as data transmission is completed successfully, and the processed image data in the image storage unit are deleted when the backup transmission is completed successfully. The apparatus includes a setting unit which sets conditions for retrying the backup transmission. The retry transmission of the processed image data is performed according to the retry conditions set by the setting unit when the backup transmission of the processed image data fails.

摘要: A thermal printer includes a rotatable platen roller; an elongated thermal head which is movable toward or away from the platen roller; and a head supporting member having an elongated head supporting portion for supporting the thermal head formed at an end. A heat radiation plate through which heat generated from the thermal head during printing can escape is arranged between the thermal head and the head supporting portion, and the thermal head can be adjustably curved toward the platen roller via the heat radiation plate by an adjusting member arranged in the head supporting portion.

摘要: In a delay error improving process of a logic circuit, delay performance is certainly improved by maintaining layout and wiring path after completion of layout and wiring. A path delay is calculated by a circuit delay period calculating portion using an actual wiring information after wiring process. By the critical path extracting portion, a path not satisfying a delay performance and critical path is extracted. The cell on the critical path is re-arranged with replacing the cell having different delay performance with the same function. The overlap of the replaced cell with the other cell is solved by moving the cell. By the partial re-wiring portion, wiring connected to the replaced cell and the cells moved for overlap solving within the partial wiring region are re-wired and the layout and the wiring path of the cells not influenced by the cell replacement are maintained.

摘要: The present invention relates to a versatile side-on type photomultiplier comprising a structure for improving the uniformity in light receiving sensitivity. Disposed on the outer peripheral surface of a sealed envelope of this photomultiplier is a restricting member which guides light to be detected into, of the light receiving surface of a photocathode, an effective region where the light receiving sensitivity is high, thereby restraining the light to be detected from reaching the outside of the effective region.

摘要: The present invention relates to a versatile side-on type photomultiplier comprising a structure for improving the uniformity in light receiving sensitivity. This photomultiplier comprises a positioning structure for precisely positioning, with respect to the light receiving surface of a photocathode, a lens element which guides light to be detected to a photocathode and constitutes a part of an envelope accommodating the photocathode. The precisely positioned lens element guides the light to be detected into, of the light receiving surface of the photocathode, an effective region where the light receiving sensitivity is high, thereby restraining the light to be detected from reaching the outside of the effective region.

摘要: A system and method for testing a specimen such as a vehicular power transmission (e.g., an automatic transmission) and analyzing an engine output characteristic of an engine connected to the power transmission in which at least a first revolutional speed on an input or output shaft of the power transmission and a first output torque of the power transmission are measured when the engine operating parameters indicate a predetermined value with the power transmission connected to the engine. A second revolutional speed on the input or output shaft of the power transmission and a second output torque of the power transmission are measured when a low inertia driving unit having the same characteristics as the engine is connected any driven with a power transmission under the same operating parameters described above. A first drive torque of the low inertia driving unit is then measured, a third revolutional speed on the input or output shaft of the power transmission and a third output torque of the power transmission are measured when a predetermined time has passed and when the same low inertia driving unit is connected and driven in the same way, and a second drive torque of the lower inertia driving unit is measured when difference values between the second and third revolutional speeds and second and third output torque fall within a predetermined range. The second drive torque is estimated as the output characteristic of the engine connected to the power transmission.
