A first configuration parameter for a first access point is configured by a WLAN control device. A second configuration parameter for a second access point is configured by the WLAN control device. The first configuration parameter is used to indicate that the first access point can send a first WLAN frame to at least one station in a first station set at a starting time by using a channel resource. The first station set includes one or more stations associated with the first access point. The second configuration parameter is used to indicate that the second access point can send a second WLAN frame to at least one station in a second station set at the starting time by using the channel resource. The second station set includes one or more stations associated with the second access point.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an access method, including: sending, to an access point, a first frame that carries uplink transmission requirement information; and if a second frame that carries information about an uplink transmission resource is received from the access point within agreed time period, sending uplink multi-user transmission data to the access point, where the uplink multi-user transmission data is transmitted on the uplink transmission resource; or if the second frame is not received within an agreed time period, accessing, by a station, a channel in a contention access manner that is based on carrier sense CSMA/CA. According to the method provided in the embodiments of the present invention, a channel access manner can be managed, a congestion degree of a system can be decreased, and channel utilization can be increased.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a communication method, to optimize a channel access parameter. The method includes: A first station sends a request frame to an access point. The request frame is used to request to obtain a channel priority access right. The request frame carries a first parameter set. The first parameter set includes MU EDCA parameters that the first station intends to use to perform channel contention. The first station receives a response frame for the request frame. The first station is an EPCS station. The first station performs channel access by using an MU EDCA mechanism. In embodiments of this application, the first parameter set includes the MU EDCA parameters that the first station intends to use to perform channel contention. The request frame carrying the first parameter set is sent. In this way, channel contention is performed by using parameters with a higher channel access priority.

Abstract: This application discloses a multi-link communication method and apparatus. The method includes: A transmitter sends a first A-MPDU, and a receiver receives the first A-MPDU. The receiver obtains a locally recorded scoreboard context, and when the first A-MPDU meets at least one of the following conditions: a first condition, a second condition, a third condition, or a fourth condition, the receiver refreshes the scoreboard context based on an SN of the first A-MPDU. According to the method provided in this application, the receiver can properly and effectively refresh the local scoreboard context, to ensure that the receiver correctly feeds back receiving statuses of all MPDUs in an A-MPDU received by the receiver.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a communication method applied to a multi-link device in a wireless local area network (WLAN) and a related apparatus. For example, the communication method is applied to a WLAN supporting 802.11be. The method includes: receiving a probe request frame, where the probe request frame is included in a multi-link device (MLD); determining, according to a preset condition, whether to respond to the probe request frame, where the preset condition includes at least the following: a reference identifier in the probe request frame does not match a reference identifier of each station in the MLD; and if the preset condition is satisfied, skipping sending a probe response frame in response to the probe request frame.

Abstract: This application relates to the field of wireless communication, and in particular, to individually addressed traffic indication methods and apparatuses applicable to multiple links, for example, in a wireless local area network supporting an 802.11be standard. In an example method, a first access point (AP) of a first access point multi-link device (AP MLD) generates and sends individually addressed traffic indication information. The individually addressed traffic indication information is used to indicate whether a non-AP MLD associated with the first AP MLD has a downlink individually addressed traffic and whether a non-AP MLD associated with a second AP MLD has a downlink individually addressed traffic. The second AP MLD is an AP MLD to which a non-transmitted AP belongs. The non-transmitted AP is in a multiple basic service set identifier (BSSID) set in which the first AP is located.

Abstract: This application relates to the field of wireless communication, in particular, to a beacon frame transmission method in an EMLSR mode, and is applied to a wireless local area network supporting the 802.11be standard. A TXOP holder sends a first frame before a first delay prior to a next TBTT, where the first frame indicates TXOP termination on a first link. The first delay is used by an EMLSR non-AP MLD to change a spatial stream on a second link to a state supporting beacon frame reception on the second link. The non-AP MLD changes, within the first delay after the TXOP termination on the first link, a spatial stream on the second link to supporting successful beacon frame reception on the second link, and receives a beacon frame by using a spatial stream currently supported on the second link at the next TBTT.
