摘要: An after treatment method for a lean-burn engine is disclosed. The after treatment method is configured to control an after treatment system sequentially equipped with an ammonia production catalyst module, a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst, and a CO clean-up catalyst (CUC) on an exhaust pipe through which an exhaust gas flows and which is connected to a lean-burn engine. NH3 generation in the ammonia production catalyst module is changed according to a temperature and a temperature change rate of the SCR catalyst.

摘要: Provided herein is an exhaust system comprising a diesel particulate filter coated with a selective catalytic reduction (SDPF) wherein the SCR is coated with a Cu/LTA catalyst comprising a LTA zeolite that includes copper ions and the SCR is coated on a high pore diesel particulate matter filter, wherein a ratio of copper and aluminum is from about 0.14 to about 0.48, and wherein the Si/Al ratio of the LTA zeolite is from about 8 to about 100.

The after treatment method may include: operating an engine at a lean air/fuel ratio; calculating an amount of NH3 stored in an SCR catalyst; calculating an amount of NOx which will flow into the SCR catalyst; determining whether conversion to a rich air/fuel ratio is desired; calculating, when the conversion to the rich air/fuel ratio is desired, a rich duration for which the rich air/fuel ratio is maintained and a target air/fuel ratio; and operating the engine at the target air/fuel ratio for the rich duration.

摘要: A catalyst oxygen purge control method may include a catalyst oxygen purge control method during a cold engine period of a catalyst oxygen purge control apparatus which includes a three way catalytic converter through which an exhaust gas combusted when air and fuel are mixed in a combustion chamber is exhausted and the exhaust gas passes, wherein the method includes determining whether a fuel cut condition of an injector which injects the fuel to the combustion chamber is satisfied, performing fuel cut of the injector when the fuel cut condition is satisfied, measuring an oxygen storage capacity of the three way catalyst, and adjusting an oxygen purge time based on the measured oxygen storage capacity.
