Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method of making zeolite intergrowths. In one embodiment, the present disclosure provides a method of making an AEI-based material, including the steps of: preparing a mixture of water, an alumina source, a silica source, a CHA structure directing agent, and an AEI structure directing agent, wherein the molar ratio of the CHA structure directing agent to the AEI structure directing agent is from about 1:1 to about 1:15; heating the mixture at a temperature sufficient to promote formation of crystals; and calcining the crystals at a temperature of from about 450° C. to about 750° C. to obtain a product, wherein no halide-containing reagent is employed. The AEI-based materials of the present disclosure may find particular use in selective catalytic reduction of NOx in exhaust gas streams.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a phosphorus modified UZM-35 zeolite, methods of its preparation, and methods of its use in hydrocarbon conversion processes, e.g., as part of a catalyst component and/or as part of a catalyst composition. Catalyst components with phosphorus modified UZM-35, their methods of preparation, and their methods of use suitable for petroleum refining applications (e.g., hydrocarbon conversion processes such as fluid catalytic cracking and hydrocracking) are described herein. Also disclosed herein are catalyst compositions, which include phosphorus modified UZM-35 and catalyst components thereof along with at least one additional catalyst component. Methods of preparing and methods of using such catalyst compositions are also encompassed by the instant disclosure.

Abstract: Process for the preparation of a catalyst and a catalyst comprising enhanced mesoporosity is provided herein. Thus, in one embodiment, provided is a particulate FCC catalyst comprising 2 to 50 wt % of one or more ultra stabilized high SiO2/Al2O3 ratio large pore faujasite zeolite or a rare earth containing USY, 0 to 50 wt % of one or more rare-earth exchanged large pore faujasite zeolite, 0 to 30 wt % of small to medium pore size zeolites, 5 to 45 wt % quasi-crystalline boehmite 0 to 35 wt % microcrystalline boehmite, 0 to 25 wt % of a first silica, 2 to 30 wt % of a second silica, 0.1 to 10 wt % one or more rare earth components showiomg enhanced mesoporosity in the range of 6-40 nm, the numbering of the silica corresponding to their orders of introduction in the preparation process.

Abstract: An improved hydroisomerization catalyst and process for making a base oil product using a catalyst comprising SSZ-91 molecular sieve and ZSM-12 molecular sieve. The catalyst and process generally involves the use of a catalyst comprising an SSZ-91 molecular sieve combined with a ZSM-12 molecular sieve to produce dewaxed base oil products by contacting the catalyst with a hydrocarbon feedstock. The catalyst and process provide improved base oil cold properties, such as pour point and cloud point, along with other beneficial base oil properties.

Abstract: Zeolite catalysts and systems and methods for preparing and using zeolite catalysts having the CHA crystal structure are disclosed. The catalysts can be used to remove nitrogen oxides from a gaseous medium across a broad temperature range and exhibit hydrothermal stability at high-reaction temperatures. The zeolite catalysts include a zeolite carrier having a silica-to-alumina ratio from about 15:1 to about 256:1 and a copper to alumina ratio from about 0.25:1 to about 1:1.

According to an electron probe microanalysis (EPMA), the D value of phosphorus in the catalytic cracking agent is ≥65%, preferably ≥68%, provided that the active component consists of the phosphorus-modified molecular sieve and the non-phosphorus-modified molecular sieve, or the D value of phosphorus in the catalytic cracking agent is ≥82%, preferably ≥84%, provided that the active component only consists of the phosphorus-modified molecular sieve.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a core-shell composite catalyst, wherein the core is a spinel-structure XYaOb catalyst, wherein X and Y, being different from each other, are metal elements selected from main group II, transition elements and main group III of the Periodic Table of Elements; a is a number between 1-15, preferably between 1-5; b is the number of oxygen atoms required to satisfy the valence of the elements; the shell is a molecular sieve catalyst, preferably selected from one or more of ZSM-5, ZSM-11, ZSM-35 and MOR, more preferably selected from ZSM-5 and ZSM-11. When the core-shell composite catalyst is used for preparing p-xylene directly from syngas in one step, the process is simple and easy to operate; the selectivity toward p-xylene in xylene products is high; the conversion of syngas is high; and the service life of the catalyst is long. In addition, the present invention also relates to the preparation method of core-shell composite catalyst, and use thereof as the catalyst in the one-step preparation of p-xylene from syngas.
