摘要： A screen image observing device and method provides the sensations of virtual reality to the observer and reduces, to the extent possible, the discrepancy that is perceived by the observer between the movement of the observer's head and the displayed screen image. The device has a head tracking means, which detects the movement of the observer's head, and a screen image generating means, which generates image data based upon the result of the detection performed by the head tracking means. Image data is supplied to a display means.

摘要： A method and an apparatus for forming an image through either basic development processing or non-basic development processing on the same processor to provide equal image quality, in which an exposed color light-sensitive material (e.g., color negative film) is processed under non-basic conditions (e.g., rapid processing conditions), image information is read out from the developed film and converted to optical or electrical digital information, the digital information is subjected to image processing to obtain target image characteristics which should have been obtained under basic development processing conditions, and the resulting image characteristics are output to a printer.

摘要： Processing a silver halide color photographic material comprising color developing, desilvering and water washing and/or stabilizing. In this process, a photographic material which has at least one emulsion layer containing a high silver chloride content, and at least one emulsion layer containing a monodisperse emulsion, is continuously processed with a color developing solution containing a water-soluble high polymer compound. The coated amount of silver in the photographic material is preferably 0.75 g/m.sup.2 or less. The color developing solution preferably has a chloride ion content of 0.035 mol/l or more. The water soluble high polymer compound can be a polyester, polyamide, polyurethane, polyether, polycarbonate or a natural high polymer compound, or their derivatives. It is obtained by polymerizing or copolymerizing a monomer containing a copolymerizable ethylene type unsaturated group. The high polymer compound is preferably added in the amount of 0.001-10 g per liter of the color developing solution. By using this process, fluctuations in photographic properties is remarkably reduced, uniformity in developed density is remarkably improved, and the prevention of deposits on the processing tank wall surface is improved.

摘要： A thermal head for a thermal-transfer or heat-sensitive printer has a silicon substrate having a projection. A porous silicon layer having a small thermal conductivity is formed on the silicon substrate so as to cover at least the projection on the silicon substrate. A heat-generating resistor layer is formed on the porous silicon oxide layer in a region above the projection of the silicon substrate. A conductor layer is formed on the heat-generating layer so as to expose the portion of the heat-generating resistor layer which is right above the projection of the silicon substrate and which serves as a heat-generating portion. The heat-generating portion and the conductor layer are covered by a protective layer.

摘要： A photographic developing apparatus of the type in which development is effected by passing exposed sensitive material (principally one for printing such as photographic paper) successively through a developing vessel, a bleaching/fixing vessel, and a rinsing vessel. The bleaching/fixing vessel is replenished with a mixture of concentrated processing liquid and liquid extracted from the rinsing vessel, so that the amount of processing liquid discharged from the rinsing vessel as overflow is reduced, thereby alleviating the burden of waste liquid disposal.When the exposed sensitive material to be processed is principally one for photographing such as negative film or reversal film, the material is successively passed through a developing vessel, a bleaching vessel, a fixing vessel, and a rinsing vessel, or through a developing vessel, a bleaching vessel, a bleaching/fixing vessel, and a rinsing vessel, so that concentrated processing liquid and liquid extracted from the rinsing vessel are supplied to the fixing vessel or the bleaching/fixing vessel which is immediately before the rinsing vessel.
