    摘要: The present invention provides a photothermographic material having, on at least one side of a support, an image forming layer including at least a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent, and a binder, and a non-photosensitive outermost layer which is disposed on the same side of the support as the image forming layer, wherein the non-photosensitive outermost layer contains a copolymer having at least the following monomer (M1) and monomer (M2) as copolymerization components, and a maximum surface roughness (Rt) on the image forming layer side is 1.5 μm or less; wherein monomer (M1) is a monomer having a salt or salt forming group, or a poly(alkylene oxide) group and having an unsaturated bond which performs radical polymerization; and monomer (M2) is a monomer containing a fluorine atom and having an unsaturated bond which performs radical polymerization. An image forming method is also provided.

    摘要: A photothermographic material containing an image forming layer having at least a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, and a reducing agent for the organic silver salt on one side of a support, and a first non-photosensitive layer containing a dye fixing agent for a water-soluble dye, a second non-photosensitive layer disposed between the support and the first non-photosensitive layer, and a third non-photosensitive layer forming an outermost layer on the other side of the support, wherein at least one layer among the first, second and third non-photosensitive layers contains the water-soluble dye. The invention provides a photothermographic material which exhibits high image quality and excellent image storability, and a manufacturing method thereof.

    摘要: Color reversal photographic elements can be effectively processed to provide positive color images using bleaching compositions in which the primary bleaching agent is a ferric complex of 1,3-propylenediaminetetraacetic acid or a salt thereof. Any potential precipitation of the bleaching agent is inhibited by the presence of at least 0.005 mol/l of an organic polyphosphonic acid, an aminopolysuccinic acid, or a polycarboxylic acid containing at least one hydroxy group as a compound. This compound can be added directly to the bleaching composition or introduced from carryover from a previous photoprocessing step, such as a prebleaching step using color reversal processing.

    摘要: The present invention relates to imaging elements, including photographic elements and recording media, having a protective overcoat that resists fingerprints, common stains, and spills. More particularly, the present invention provides a water permeable overcoat during image formation but that is water resistant in the final processed product. The overcoat, before formation of the image, comprises polyurethane particles in a gelatin-containing matrix. Subsequent to formation of the image, the overcoat is heat fused, resulting in the formation of a water-resistant continuous protective overcoat that provides excellent scratch and spill resistance.
