    摘要: A photographic element is provided on one or both surfaces thereof with a fire-retardant protective overcoat comprising (1) a water-soluble film-forming copolymer of methyl inyl ether and maleic anhydride cross-linked by a water-soluble polyhydric alcohol and (2) a water-soluble ammonium polyphosphate which reacts with the polyhydric alcohol to form a fire-retardant composition when the protective overcoat is exposed to the heat of a fire. The protective overcoat is transparent, colorless, durable, non-tacky and moisutre resistant and provides especially effective fire-retarding properties for photographic products used in large display format such as back-drops on movie sets or free-hanging murals at trade shows.

    摘要: Improved gas-fired radiant heater has porous refractory panel mounted by its edges on a support to define a gaseous combustion mixture plenum from which the mixture flows through the panel to burn at its outer face, and a conduit for non-combustible gas extends along the margin of the panel and discharges the non-combustible gas through the panel all along its margin to keep the combustion mixture from escaping through the panel edges where burning can damage the panel. No further sealing of the panel margin is needed, but the sealing is effected with less of the non-combustible gas if the panel edges are compressed so as to reduce their thickness about 10%. One or more of the margins of a rectangular panel can be arranged as a depending flange with its mounting at least partially recessed so that two or more panels can be juxtaposed at such margins to form an effectively continuous radiating surface of relatively large size. The air seal construction also makes such heaters very practical for firing house heating furnaces.

The personal mobility features allow a caller to be identified to a callee using a desired identifier in place of an identifier of the device from which a call is made. Such personal mobility features are made available in multiparty calling environments and after mid-call moves. Device augmentation features provide enhanced calling options to a device that may otherwise be unequipped to provide such options, thus enabling personal mobility and multiparty control features across a wide variety of telecommunications devices.
