摘要: An image diagnostic system controls a probe to perform radial scanning within a body cavity produces data based on signals received by the probe to construct and display a tomographic image of the body cavity and surrounding biotissue. The system includes a generation unit, a selection unit and a conversion unit. The generation unit generates and outputs synchronization signals in synchronization with a timing of acquisition cycles of line units of the signals and generated at a higher frequency than output signals outputted corresponding to rotational angles of the probe upon performing the scanning. The selection unit successively receives the output signals, and selects and outputs first ones of the synchronization signals as received subsequent to the receptions of the output signals. Responsive to successive inputs of the synchronization signals selected by the selection unit, the conversion unit converts the reflected signals into digital signals and outputs the digital signals.

摘要: An image diagnostic system controls a probe to perform radial scanning within a body cavity, to acquire reflected signals through the probe and to produce data based on the signals. The system includes plural storage units for storing the data in line units, respectively, a writing control unit for controlling writing processing in accordance with a transmission/reception timing of the signals, and a reading control unit for controlling reading processing in accordance with rotation angles of the probe. The writing control unit writes data in the storage unit, other than the storage unit being subjected to reading processing, storing the oldest data. The reading control unit reads the data from the storage unit, other than the storage unit being subjected to writing processing, storing the latest data. The tomographic image is constructed based on the data read by the reading control unit.

摘要: The invention relates to a document handling apparatus for use in a copying machine which separates a document from the bottom of a stack of documents on a loading plate to an exposure location, feeds back the document onto the top of the stack after exposure. The document handling apparatus has a separator arm fixed to a rotatable shaft which is driven intermittently by a drive system. The separator arm contacts the top surface of the stack of documents to be fed to the exposure location with the weight of the arm, loads the documents having been returned from the exposure location on the separator arm, moves downwardly with the circulation of the documents until being released from the bottom of the stack of the documents. A partially toothed gear of the drive system is mounted on a rotatable shaft which is geared with the pinion gear to rotate the rotatable arm in its toothed circumferential portion and is free from the pinion gear out of the toothed circumferential portion. A sensor is provided to detect a position of the separator arm for generating a signal to stop a motor of the drive system.

摘要: An image diagnostic system controls a probe to perform rotational and axially-moving scanning within a body cavity and to acquire reflected signals through the probe. Based on the acquired reflected signals, the system forms and outputs tomographic image of the body cavity and biotissue surrounding the body cavity. The system is provided with a detection unit which detects a direction of movement of the probe in the axially-moving scanning and a control unit which controls the rotational speed of the probe in the rotational scanning. The control unit includes a determination unit which determines whether or not the rotational speed of the probe is to be changed upon detection of movement of the probe toward the distal direction within the body cavity, and changes the rotational speed of the probe upon determination of a change at the determination unit.

摘要: In an automatic document feeder for use in an image forming device such as copy machine and facsimile machine: a document shunting path for temporarily shunting a document is provided at an upstream side of a document reading portion; in a different-size mixed mode where different sizes of documents are placed in a mixed manner, the leading edge and rear edge of the document are detected by a sensor during conveyance of the document in the direction toward the document reading portion, so that the length of the document is detected; thereafter the document is conveyed in the reverse direction so that the rear edge of the document is shunted into the document shunting path; and thereafter the document is again conveyed in the forward direction to conduct reading. Thus, it becomes unnecessary to provide a longer conveyance path for detecting the length of the documents, so that the size of the feeder itself can be reduced.

摘要: A surface acoustic wave transducer is provided having three electrode fingers disposed as one reference segment (&lgr;) on a piezoelectric substrate, each segment including an electrode finger 1 having a width W1, an electrode finger 2 having a width W2 with a gap of g1, and an electrode 3 having a width 3 with a gap g2. The electrode fingers 1 and 3 are set in-phase, and the electrode finger 2 is set in an opposite phase for driving. Further, W1 is set equal to W3, and g1 is set equal to g2. Thus, it is possible to provide a SAW transducer that has improved a shape factor at a high-pass side near a pass band of a primary-third order longitudinally coupled double mode SAW filter.
