摘要： It is intended to provide a swash plate type continuously variable transmission capable of automatically affording a lock-up state in which second distributing valves are stopped at their stroke mid-point to cut off motor ports when a motor swash plate stands upright, even without using any special interlocking mechanism. Second distributing valves for bringing motor ports of motor cylinder bores into communication with a high-pressure oil path and a low-pressure oil path selectively in an alternate manner are arranged in parallel with the axis X of a cylinder block; a valve swash plate for reciprocating the second distributing valves is integrally combined with a motor swash plate on the same slant plane; and the motor ports are formed so as to be controlled selectively by the second distributing valves at respective positions 90.degree. out of phase in the circumferential direction of the cylinder block 4 with respect to the corresponding motor cylinder bores, the second distributing valves being stopped at their stroke mid-points when the motor swash plate stands upright. In a swash plate type hydraulic unit for use as a swash plate type oil-hydraulic pump or motor, it is intended to attain the reduction in radial size of the hydraulic unit while ensuring a sufficient plunger stroke.

摘要： Sheet loading in an image recording apparatus is automatically performed by drawing the leading edge of an elongated, web-like image photosensitive recording medium out of a sheet cartridge, passing it through a predetermined sheet feed path provided between the sheet cartridge and a take-up shaft, and attaching the leader portion of the recording medium to the take-up shaft. A plurality of sensors are disposed alongside the sheet feed path for sensing that the sheet loading is being appropriately performed. The recording medium is successively moved to each of the sensors, and if the recording medium is not sensed thereby, it is rewound around the cartridge shaft.

摘要： The invention provides a color copying machine or apparatus for forming chromatic images which irradiates an original with rays from a light source, focuses the reflection from the original as latent images on a photosensitive recording medium, and forms chromatic images corresponding to the latent images on a copy sheet. The apparatus includes supplementary exposing means for irradiating a specified region on the photosensitive recording medium with desirable chromatic light. Thus the color of images on the region is desirably changed to make the region conspicuous or inconspicuous.

摘要： An image recording apparatus for recording an image of an original on a photosensitive recording medium. At an exposure zone, a latent image corresponding to the original image is formed on the photosensitive recording medium through filters. The filters provide insufficient spectral transmission characteristics, yet resultant output image has sufficient quality by controlling light irradiation amount from a light source or by controlling an exposure speed in response to insertion amounts of the filters with respect to an optical path.

The quantity of current to be supplied to the light source is controlled in accordance with the quantity of current to be supplied to the thermal fixing device by the first control device, and the speeds of the scanning device and the moving device are controlled by the second control device in accordance with the quantity of light of the light source controlled by the first control device.

摘要： An image transfer system wherein latent images formed on a photosensitive medium by exposure to a radiation according to image signals are developed into visible images, the photosensitive medium having a basic minimum amount of exposure to the radiation, which substantially defines a lower limit of a density-variable range in which a density of the visible images is varied according to an amount of exposure of the medium to the radiation. The present image transfer system includes a first device, a second device and a developing device. The first device is adapted to expose the medium a predetermined basic amount not larger than the basic minimum amount. The second device exposes local areas of the medium to a controlled intensity of the radiation represented by the image signals, and thereby cooperates with the first device to form the latent images on the photosensitive medium. The latent images are developed into the visible images by the developing device. Also disclosed a filter device for compensating for a difference in sensitivity of the medium to different wavelengths of the radiation for color imaging.

摘要： In an image recording apparatus utilizing a photo and pressure sensitive recording medium, an exposure unit emits a light to shine upon an original, and directs the light reflected from the original, toward the recording medium to expose the same thereby forming a latent image. A pressure developing unit is provided for pressurizing the exposed recording medium to develop the latent image thereon. A transport arrangement transports the recording medium from the exposure unit to the pressure developing unit. A regular reflection unit is provided for regular-reflecting the light from the exposure unit to expose the recording medium to the regular reflection light, thereby curing the recording medium.

摘要： An image recording system including a photosensitive medium having a layer of microcapsules formed on a substrate, each of the microcapsules having a photosensitive resin which is curable upon exposure to a radiation, and a colorless chromogenic material or color former which is capable of chemically reacting with a developer material, to form a visible image. The system further includes an exposing device for forming a latent image on the photosensitive medium according to image signals, by exposure of the medium to the radiation. The latent image is developed into a visible image. A communication device is provided for translating facsimile signals into corresponding picture signals. The facsimile signals are received from a remote facsimile transmitter through a communication channel and represent an image of a subject copy. Control means are connected to the communication device and the exposing device, for applying to the exposing device the picture signals received from the communication device as the image signals, to thereby form on the photosensitive medium the latent image represented by the picture signals.
