摘要： A link corresponding range is identified in a string in a finding section of a medical report display screen. A content is specified and dragged and dropped onto the area in which link corresponding range is displayed. When the string is specified, address information on the content is attached to the string. At the same time, the string in the link corresponding range is identified and displayed. The present apparatus subsequently determines whether or not to display information related to the linked reference content. If a display instruction has been given, a protocol that allows the related information to be automatically acquired and displayed is embedded in the hyperlink. When report production is completed, a file is saved to finish the series of processing operations. The file is then transferred to, for example, a trace reading report production requester.

A display controller causes the first display and the second display to display images. An operation part is for operating a pointer displayed on the first display and the second display. An annotation generator receives designation of a position on the medical image displayed on the first display by using the pointer, and attaches sign data representing a position specification sign to the medical image data. An address information acquiring part acquires address information for reading out the medical image data to which the sign data is attached. A linking part links the address information to a link object such as a string designated by using the pointer and displayed on the generation screen displayed on the second display.

摘要： Enhanced image data is stored, and medical image data contained in the enhanced image data and a screen for creating an interpretation report are displayed on a monitor. In response to a linking operation, link data containing image specification information specifying medical image data to link in the enhanced image data is generated and included into data of the interpretation report. In response to an operation of requesting linked medical image, based on the link data, medical image data indicated by the image specification information within the enhanced image data is specified from the enhanced image data, and the specified medical image data is outputted to a requesting destination of the linked medical image. Thus, a link can be set to medical image data that is one data element within enhanced image data, and only a linked data row can be extracted and read from the enhanced image data.

Then, a drag operation is input which specifies any of contents being displayed on a monitor. The address information on the referenced content is then pasted to the string. At the same time, the string in the link corresponding range has its color changed and is underlined for identification.
