摘要: A deterioration diagnosis system for an air fuel sensor mounted to an exhaust pipe of an internal combustion engine. The air fuel sensor determines a mixture ratio of air and fuel fed into the internal combustion engine. In the system, an inclination of an output signal of the air-fuel ratio sensor is calculated; variance of the inclination is calculated; deterioration of the air-fuel ratio sensor is determined based on the variance of the inclination.

摘要: An air fuel ratio control system includes an exhaust gas sensor to sense an oxygen concentration in an exhaust passage of an internal combustion engine, and a controller. The controller is configured to judge that the exhaust gas sensor is in an active state, by monitoring a decrease of an output of the exhaust gas sensor from a level greater than a first predetermined value, to a level smaller than or equal to the predetermined first predetermined value, and to allow the air fuel ratio control when the exhaust gas sensor is judged to be in the active state.

摘要: When an output signal from an oxygen sensor is within a predetermined range including a value equivalent to a stoichiometric air-fuel ratio, the output signal is converted into air-fuel ratio data, to compute an air-fuel ratio control signal based on a deviation between the air-fuel ratio data and a target air-fuel ratio. When the output signal from the oxygen sensor is outside the predetermined range, it is judged based on the output signal whether an actual air-fuel ratio is richer or leaner than the target air-fuel ratio, to compute the air-fuel ratio control signal based on the judgment result.
