摘要: A HST system for use in traveling of a vehicle includes a controller that controls a pump regulator that changes a displacement of a pump and a motor regulator that changes a displacement of a motor. The controller determines whether or not a particular downhill travel condition is satisfied based on a result of detection by a vehicle speed detector that detects a vehicle speed of the vehicle and a result of detection by a rotation number detector that detects a number of rotations of an engine per unit time. In a case where a depression amount of an accelerator pedal, which is detected by a depression amount detector, is zero and the particular downhill travel condition is satisfied, the controller controls the motor regulator to increase the displacement of the motor.

摘要: An engine consumes fuel and air to generate an exhaust gas stream. An exhaust system channels the exhaust gas stream from the engine to a tailpipe. An aftertreatment system is included in the exhaust system and includes a catalyst. An exhaust throttle valve is disposed in the exhaust system downstream from the aftertreatment system. An actuator controls an amount of air pumped through the engine. A controller operates the exhaust throttle valve and/or the actuator to control emissions from the exhaust system during a cold start and following a deceleration fuel cutoff event.

摘要: Aspects of the present invention relate to a controller for controlling operation of an internal combustion engine, a control system, an internal combustion engine, a vehicle, a method and a non-transitory computer readable medium. The controller is configured to, during fuel cut, cause opening of an intake valve of a cylinder of the internal combustion engine to enable air having a mass to enter the cylinder. The mass is below a first range of masses which enable the internal combustion engine to provide combustion torque.

摘要: An exhaust gas controller for an engine is equipped to appropriately regenerate a filter while restraining a deterioration in fuel efficiency. An oxidation catalyst and a filter capable of collecting particles in an exhaust passage, such that a regenerative injection in which fuel is injected for regenerating the filter is performed, even when a main injection is stopped. Under a first operating condition, in which the main injection is performed and a regeneration condition for the filter is satisfied, the regenerative injection is performed after the main injection. Under a second operating condition, in which the main injection is stopped and the regeneration condition for the filter is satisfied, a fuel injector is controlled to perform a former injection Q1 during a compression stroke and latter injections Q2, Q3 during an expansion stroke, as the regenerative injection.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for regenerating and purging a particulate filter of an exhaust treatment system for a combustion engine. In one example, a method may include flowing exhaust gas in a reverse direction through the particulate filter to purge particulate matter to an intake manifold of the engine for combusting. The duration of purging may be based on a regeneration achieved during a previous regeneration of the particulate filter during a deceleration fuel shut-off event.

摘要: Techniques for a mild hybrid vehicle utilize a control system for detecting a deceleration fuel shutoff (DFSO) event where fueling to an engine is disabled and in response to detecting the DFSO event: determining a desired pumping loss for the engine based on a parameter of a battery system, the desired pumping loss corresponding to a desired amount of electrical energy that a motor generator unit (MGU) of a belt-driven starter generator (BSG) system will generate to charge the battery system; commanding a throttle valve of the engine to an initial position determined based on the desired engine pumping loss and a speed of the engine; estimating an actual pumping loss of the engine based on an estimated airflow into the engine; and adjusting the position of the throttle valve based on a difference between the desired and actual engine pumping losses.

摘要: A controller for a vehicle includes failure diagnosis circuitry and drive control circuitry. The failure diagnosis circuitry is configured to perform a failure diagnosis of an internal combustion engine system while an internal combustion engine is in operation. The drive control circuitry is configured to operate the internal combustion engine in a charge depleting mode operation in which an electric motor mainly moves the vehicle while the internal combustion engine is not run only for charging a battery. The drive control circuitry is configured to run the internal combustion engine if a predetermined condition is satisfied in the charge depleting mode operation. The drive control circuitry is configured to continue running the internal combustion engine in order to perform the failure diagnosis even if the predetermined condition is unsatisfied while the internal combustion engine is run in the charge depleting mode operation.
