摘要: This invention relates to an electrophotographic photosensitive member having a support and a photosensitive layer. In the electrophotographic photosensitive member having a support and a photosensitive layer, which electrophotographic photosensitive member makes use of, as writing light, a semiconductor laser light ray having a wavelength of from 380 to 500 nm, the photosensitive layer contains a bisazo pigment represented by the following Formula (1): wherein A1, A2 and A3 may be the same or different, and each independently represent a saturated or unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group which may have a substituent, an aromatic hydrocarbon ring group which may have a substituent, a heterocyclic ring group which may have a substituent, or a carbonyl group; R1 and R2 may be the same or different, and each independently represent an alkyl group which may have a substituent, an aryl group which may have a substituent, or a halogen atom; R3, R4, R5 and R6 may be the same or different, and each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group which may have a substituent, an aryl group which may have a substituent, a heterocyclic ring group which may have a substituent, or an aralkyl group which may have a substituent, provided that R3 and R4, and R5 and R6, may each form a cyclic amino group via the nitrogen atom in the formula; Z1 and Z2 each independently represent an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; m1 and m2 each represent an integer of 0 to 4; and n1, n2 and n3 each independently represent 0 or 1.

摘要: An optical information recording medium which can eliminate the necessity for the initialization process. A crystallization assisting layer (3) comprising a given material is formed over a substrate (1) on one side thereof, and a recording layer (4) comprising a Ge—Sb—Te alloy is formed directly on the layer (3). Since the recording layer (4) crystallizes immediately after film formation, no initialization process is necessary for the optical information recording medium obtained. Examples of the material of the crystallization assisting layer firstly include materials having a face-centered cubic lattice system crystal structure. Examples thereof secondly include tellurium-free materials having a rhombohedral lattice system crystal structure. An especially preferred crystallization assisting layer is a discontinuous island-like film made of a material comprising bismuth and/or a bismuth compound. Incorporation nitrogen into the crystallization assisting layer provides an optical information recording medium which need not be initialized and has excellent overwrite cyclability.

摘要: In a print head for a powder jet image forming apparatus according to the present invention, a grid electrode is provided between first electrodes and a developer supply roller in parallel with major surfaces of an insulating layer, and therefore, a distance between any of the first electrodes and the grid electrode is kept fixed. Thus, applying a given level of voltage to the grid electrode allows an electric field for supplying developer to the first electrodes to arise uniformly. This is effective in avoiding uneven density in the resultant image.

摘要: A method of and a device for forming blisters in which a web material consisting a thermoplastic resin that is supplied to a rotary forming drum is heated and deformed by heat in accordance with the configuration of cavities provided on the rotary forming drum. A predetermined tension is applied forming web material while feeding it. When the rotary forming drum consists of a polygonal drum, each peripheral surface of the drum is formed as a curved surface extending along an arc whose radius is larger than that of the circumscribed circle of the polygon. This invention can be used in a packing device for foods, drugs, etc.
