Abstract: Disclosed herein is an operating method of a station (STA) in a wireless LAN (WLAN) system. The method includes receiving a downlink (DL) physical protocol data unit (PPDU) and sending an uplink (UL) PPDU as a response to the DL PPDU. The DL PPDU may include at least one MAC protocol data unit (MPDU) and the at least one MPDU may include a first high efficiency (HE) control field. The UL PPDU may include at least one MAC protocol data unit (MPDU) and the at least one MPDU may include a second high efficiency (HE) control field. The each of the first and second HE control fields corresponds to an HT control field and comprises a plurality of aggregated HE control subfield. The HT control field includes VHT subfield value set to “1” and HE subfield value set to “1”.

Abstract: A method for performing an uplink (UL) multi-user (MU) transmission performed by a station (STA) device in a Wireless LAN (WLAN) system according to an embodiment of the present invention may include receiving a Downlink (DL) MU Physical Protocol Data Unit (PPDU) including a physical preamble and a data field; and where the data field includes at least one Mac Protocol Data Unit (MPDU), where the at least one MPDU includes a trigger frame or a MAC header, where the trigger frame or the MAC header includes trigger information for a UL MU transmission of an ACK (Acknowledge) frame, and performing a UL MU transmission of the ACK frame in response to the DL MU PPDU based on the trigger information.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method by which an operating station (STA) transmits a signal in a multiple user (MU) scheme in a wireless LAN (WLAN) system. In the present method, the STA configures a wireless frame, which includes a data field for data transmission and a signaling (SIG) field including control information, wherein the SIG field includes a SIG A field, which includes bandwidth information indicating the whole bandwidth having a bandwidth of 2n times that of 20 MHz, and a SIG B field, which includes user specific information. Here, the bandwidth information of the SIG A field additionally indicates whether the whole bandwidth includes one or more 20 MHz bands (null channel), which are not used in the data transmission.

Abstract: The present document relates to a wireless communication system and, more specifically, to a method for flexibly supporting resource allocation in a wireless LAN system, and a method and an apparatus for signal transmission using the same. To this end, a first STA configures a radio frame comprising: a signaling (SIG) field including control information; and a data field in which data can be transmitted via a discontinuous channel or a channel having a bandwidth size that is supported by a legacy system. When the first STA transmits the configured radio frame to a second STA, the SIG field preferably comprises: information about a full bandwidth in which data can be transmitted via the data field; and null indicator information indicating a channel region of the full bandwidth that is not used in data transmission, or used channel indicator information indicating a channel region of the full bandwidth that is used in data transmission.

Abstract: A method for updating a network allocation vector (NAV) by a station (STA) in a wireless LAN system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving a frame; and when the duration of the frame is greater than the value of an NAV of the STA, updating the NAV of the STA, wherein the duration is indicated by each of a signal (SIG) field of a physical layer and a header of an MAC layer in the frame, the duration indicated by the physical layer has a larger granularity of a time unit than that of the duration indicated by the MAC layer, and the STA updates the NAV through the duration having the larger granularity, indicated by the physical layer, when the duration indicated by the MAC layer cannot be obtained.

Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method by which a station (STA) performs channel access in a wireless LAN system comprises the steps of: receiving, from an access point (AP), a first frame indicating whether to deactivate a basic service set (BSS) color; receiving a second frame including a signal (SIG)-A field having a transmission opportunity (TXOP) period subfield and a BSS color subfield; and performing channel access, wherein the STA can perform the channel access by invoking an extended inter-frame space (EIFS) operation when the BSS color is deactivated by the first frame, but the BSS color subfield of the second frame includes the deactivated BSS color and the TXOP period subfield of the second frame includes a valid TXOP period value.

Abstract: The present specification proposes a signal processing method for changing an operating mode for transmitting a PPDU in a wireless LAN system. Specifically, a first station receives, from the second station, indication information which indicates a change in an operating mode indicating a receiving channel bandwidth and a number of spatial streams supported by a second station during a TXOP interval. When the number of spatial streams and the receiving channel bandwidth decrease, the first station configures a PPDU for the second station by using the indication information after transmitting an ACK for the indication information. When the number of spatial streams and the receiving channel bandwidth increase, the first station configures a PPDU for the second station by using the indication information during a subsequent TXOP interval of the TXOP interval.

Abstract: According to an embodiment of the present specification, a method for transmitting an uplink frame in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system and performed by a user station (STA) includes: receiving from an access point (AP) a trigger frame comprising association identifier information for orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA)-based random access and allocation information indicating a resource unit, wherein the association identifier information indicates any one of a first value irrelevant to whether being associated with the AP, a second value for a first STA group associated with the AP, and a third value for a second STA group un-associated with the AP; and performing a countdown operation according to the association identifier information based on a backoff value which is set in a backoff counter of the user STA in order to transmit the uplink frame.

Abstract: A method for transmitting a trigger frame performed by a first wireless terminal may include, configuring a trigger frame of a basic type including a plurality of user information fields for an OFDMA-based random access backoff procedure by a plurality of second wireless terminals, wherein each of the plurality of user information fields includes resource allocation information for a RA resource unit allocated for the OFDMA-based random access backoff procedure, identifier information indicating that the RA resource unit is allocated for the OFDMA-based random access backoff procedure, and TID aggregation limit information indicating the maximum number of TIDs allowed for an A-MPDU generated by a second wireless terminal that has completed the OFDMA random access backoff procedure based on the trigger frame, and wherein the TID aggregation limit information is set to 0 or 1; and transmitting the trigger frame to the plurality of second wireless terminals.

Abstract: A method for a station (STA), which supports a high efficiency physical layer protocol data unit (HE PPDU), for operating in a power-save (PS) mode in a wireless LAN system according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving a PPDU; decoding at least a part of the PPDU; and operating in a doze state until the end of the PPDU on the basis of the result of decoding at least a part of the PPDU, wherein if the PPDU is configured as a very high throughput (VHT) PPDU, which is a legacy format compared to the HE PPDU, and the VHT PPDU is determined to be an uplink frame transmitted to an access point (AP) by another STA belonging to the same basic service set (BSS) as the STA, then the STA can operate in a doze state until the end of the PPDU.
