    Abstract: A method for performing uplink data fast transmission. The method includes receiving a UE context release message including a user plane ID (UPID) from control plane (CP) of a central unit (CU) of the network node, forwarding the UPID via a radio resource control (RRC) connection release message to a wireless device, receiving a RRC resume request message including user data with the UPID from the wireless device, transmitting the user data to CU based on the UPID.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for paging for multicast and broadcast service in a wireless communication system is provided. A Distributed Unit (DU) of a Radio Access Network (RAN) node may receive, from a central unit (CU) of the RAN node, a service identity for a Multicast and/or Broadcast (MB) service. A MB session may be set for the MB service. A DU of a RAN node may transmit, to multiple User Equipments (UEs) in Connection Management (CM)-IDLE state, the service identity of the MB service. The multiple UEs may have joined to the MB session. A DU of a RAN node may receive, from at least one UE among the multiple UEs, an RRC message to request the MB service. A DU of a RAN node may forward the RRC message to the CU of the RAN node.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to manual closed access group (CAG) selection in wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a central unit (CU) in a wireless communication system comprises: receiving, from a distribution unit (DU), information informing whether to allow a manual closed access group (CAG) selection on a CAG identifier (ID) not included in a list of allowed CAG IDs of a wireless device for each of public land mobile networks (PLMNs); receiving, from an access and mobility management function (AMF), a list of PLMNs supported by the AMF; determining CAG control information informing at least one PLMN for which a manual CAG selection on a CAG ID not included in the list of allowed CAG IDs of the wireless device is allowed, based on the list of PLMNs supported by the AMF and the information received from the DU; and transmitting, to the DU, the CAG control information.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for lossless uplink data transmission of IAB network in a wireless communication system will be provided. A user plane (UP) of an integrated access and backhaul (IAB)-donor central unit (CU) in a wireless communication system receives, from a wireless device, uplink data through a source IAB-node. A UP of an IAB-donor CU receives, from the source IAB-node, at least one of a delivery status of the uplink data on the source IAB-node, wherein the wireless device handovers from the source IAB-node to a target IAB-node. A UP of an IAB-donor CU transmits, to a unit-control plane (CP) of the IAB-donor CU, a first message based on the at least one of the delivery status of the uplink data.

    Abstract: Provided are a method of performing a RAN based paging a device supporting the method. According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a method for performing a RAN based paging in a wireless communication system includes: receiving a message, which includes paging related information and information indicating that a user equipment (UE) enters a radio resource control (RRC) inactive state, from a master node (MN); receiving a downlink (DL) data from a core network; and performing the RAN based paging for the UE by using the paging related information.
