Abstract:
A method for managing registration in a wireless communication system and a device for the same are disclosed. More specifically, the method for managing registration performed by a User Equipment (UE), that cannot be paged by a network and does not perform a periodic registration area update, in the wireless communication system, may include receiving a timer value for managing a Deregistered state of the UE from the network during a registration procedure, starting a timer if the UE enters an Idle state, and allowing the UE to enter the Deregistered state if the timer expires.
Abstract:
Data-off can be activated in a user equipment. If a packet data network gateway receives a downlink packet to be transmitted to the user equipment in which data-off has been activated, the packet data network gateway transmits to the user equipment, or blocks, the downlink packet for the user equipment by using a filter associated with a data-off exception service.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method comprising classifying user equipment (UE) cells, to which carrier aggregation is applied, into a plurality of time advance groups. Uplink-time synchronization is managed using the time synchronization of a primary cell (Pcell) in the time synchronization group to which the primary cell belongs. For other time synchronization groups, the uplink time synchronization is managed using the time synchronization of a secondary cell (SCell) that is particularly set in the relevant time synchronization group. Thus, the plurality of time synchronizations can be effectively managed for the UE and a base station (BS).
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for supporting direct communication, and a network entity, the method receiving, from a relay UE, a message which notifies that it is not necessary to perform paging to a remote UE since a direct link to the remote UE is set, and transmitting, to a network entity, a message which notifies that it is not necessary to perform paging to the remote UE.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a communication method, wherein: protocol entity configuration information is received from a network entity; if an SDU the transmission of which has been requested by an application is received, a first protocol entity creates a first protocol PDU according to the protocol entity configuration information, without concatenation or segmentation of the SDU; a second protocol entity creates a second protocol PDU on the basis of the first protocol PDU; and a third protocol entity transmits the second protocol PDU to the network entity.
Abstract:
A method is provided for transmitting an uplink signal by a user equipment (UE). The UE receives a first uplink grant including a first new data indicator (NDI) from a network, determines whether the first NDI has been toggled by comparing the first NDI to a second NDI, and transmits the uplink signal based on a result of the determining to the network. The second NDI is included in a second uplink grant that was previously received. The second uplink grant was identified by an identifier except for a temporary cell identifier.

Abstract:
Provided are a method for user interface (UI)/user experience (UX) display for supporting service continuity when a disaster situation ends, and a device supporting same. A user equipment (UE) receives, from a disaster roaming PLMN, a configuration update command message including first information indicating that a disaster condition of a home PLMN (HPLMN) has ended, and displays second information relating to whether to maintain a service that is being received from the disaster roaming PLMN, on the basis of the first information and the fact that the disaster condition of the HPLMN has ended. The UE also waits until the service that is being received from the disaster roaming PLMN ends, and performs, after the service that is being received from the disaster roaming PLMN ends, a procedure of deregistration from the disaster roaming PLMN on the basis of the first information.
Abstract:
One disclosure of the present specification provides a method for performing communication by a user equipment (UE). The method comprises the steps of: receiving, from a network, a first message indicating that connection between the UE and a first network slice used by the UE is released, wherein the first message includes time information about a time when the connection is released; and on the basis of the first message, transmitting, to an application of the UE, a second message indicating that the connection is released. The second message includes the time information, and the UE may drive the application by using the first network slice.
Abstract:
A disclosure of the present specification provides a method for performing direct communication by a first UE. The method may comprise the steps of: transmitting, to a second UE, a request message for establishing a unicast link; and receiving, from the second UE, a response message regarding the request message.
