    摘要: A method and system for automatic zoom adjustment is disclosed. Content is displayed on a display screen for a user. In an auto-zoom mode, a first and a second pictures are acquired. Pre-determined features are detected from the first and second pictures. A first and a second feature distances are computed based on the pre-determined features detected from the first and second pictures, respectively. The first and second feature distances relate to the user's head movement relative to the display screen. An adjustment to the zoom of the content on display is determined based on the difference between the first and the second feature distances.

The method includes detecting a position of the electronic device, and activating the power-saving mode if the detected position is determined to be one of a plurality of pre-determined power-saving positions. A system for performing the method is also provided. The system includes a detection unit for detecting the position of the mobile device, and an operational mode control unit coupled in signal communication with the detection unit. The control unit controls the mobile device to enter one of a power-saving mode and a wake-up mode based on the signals received from the detection unit.

    摘要: A method to classify the network speed disclosed is utilized to distinguish between an advanced-level user bandwidth and a general-level user bandwidth for users whose devices are connected by the access point. The method includes selecting a bandwidth-distribution rule of the access point, and distributing the total bandwidth supported by the access point according to the selected bandwidth-distribution rule. The bandwidth-distribution rule is selected from a ratio-distribution rule, a highest-band restriction rule, and a lowest-bandwidth restriction rule. The bandwidth distributed to each advanced-level user is larger than the bandwidth distributed to each general-level user.

The current sensor module is used for sensing a loading current of the hand held device and outputting a photo signal according to the intensity of the loading current. The alerting module is used for performing an alerting action after the driving signal is received. In addition, an over-current alerting method is also disclosed herein.

The mobile communication device transmits a media download request to the server for downloading of media data. The server receives the media download request and then generates a description file, a protected media file and a license file. The protected media file comprises a set of encrypted data generated from encrypting the media data. The license file comprises a decryption key for decrypting the encrypted data into the requested media data. The server transmits the description file to the mobile communication device. The mobile communication device receives the description file from the server.
