摘要： In an information presenting apparatus, information associated with each of one or more motion images stored in a storage apparatus is displayed at a location corresponding to a file production time in the form of a calendar view. A plurality of frames of representative images are extracted from each motion image in accordance with a specified frame extraction method. Thumbnail images of the respective extracted representative images are produced, and each thumbnail image is related to a playback position in the motion image. The resultant thumbnail images are managed as a set of motion image thumbnail images in accordance with a production time of the motion image. Information associated with each motion image is displayed at a location corresponding to the production time of the motion image in the form of the calendar view. Thumbnail images associated with each motion image are displayed in an expanded form in the order of time.

摘要： When the three-dimensional direction the head faces is detected by three axes, that is, a yaw angle that is an angle turning around an erect axis erected on the horizontal surface of the head, and a pitch angle and a roll angle that are angles formed by the above erect axis and two axes perpendicular thereto, a gyro sensor 11 which detects the yaw angle from the integral value of the acceleration, a tilt sensor 12 which detects the inclination of a plane that intersects the direction of the erect axis at right angles, and calculation element 14 which calculates the pitch angle and the roll angle from the output of a tilt sensor are provided, so that the direction that the head faces can be detected with a simple detecting structure including the two sensors, in a head mounted display or the like.

The image processing apparatus further includes image holding means for holding a log image including each taken image located before the second taken image and feature quantity extraction means for extracting a feature quantity. The image processing apparatus also includes image conversion means for converting the second taken image, decision means for determining whether or not synthesis of the second taken image and the log image is necessary, and image synthesis means for, if the synthesis of the second taken image and the log image is determined necessary, synthesizing the converted second taken image with the log image.
