摘要: A method for monitoring impairment indicators, the method includes measuring, with a movement sensor attached to the person, a first signal related to movement of a person during a first time window and electronically storing the at least one numerical descriptor derived from the first signal as reference data for the person. The method further includes measuring, with the movement sensor attached to the person, a second signal related to movement of the person during a second time window and comparing at least one numerical descriptor derived from the second signal to the reference data as a factor to identify an impairment indicator. The present disclosure also includes a device for monitoring impairment indicators.

摘要: A system and method of detecting food intake events from wearable devices. The system comprises a signal bank to store physiological digital data signals collected via a wearable device comprising at least one sensor to sense at least one physiological parameter of a user. The system comprises a preprocessor module to process the physiological digital data signals stored on the data signal bank and to create a descriptive representation of the sensed at least one physiological parameter. The system also comprises a feature extractor module, with two parallel function modes, comprising features that are automatically learned while others are analytically derived from the descriptive representation. Thus, the feature extractor is configured to select at least one of the modes. The system also comprises a probability estimator module to determine whether a food intake event of the user occurs based on the extracted features.

摘要: A method and an electronic apparatus is provided. A first UI indicating a start of an activity is displayed when first data indicating that the activity occurs is received from a first sensor. Information is displayed about a preset time or a preset intensity required for the activity to be converted into exercise. The preset time or the preset intensity is set based on user information related to a characteristic of a user. It is detected that the activity is maintained for at least one of the preset time or at the preset intensity. In response to the detecting that the activity is maintained, a second UI is displayed indicating a start of an exercise. A sensor is activated based on the start of the exercise and exercise history of the user. A function is executed for measuring exercise information by using second data received from the activated sensor.

摘要: A method for measuring the mobility of a subject, the method comprising: receiving an audio signal from one or more microphones: for each of a plurality of overlapping regions of the audio signal, classifying the region as containing the sound of a footstep using a first supervised learning algorithm, determining that two or more of the regions classified as containing the sound of a footstep correspond to a series of two or more consecutive footsteps of a subject; and using a first neural network, analysing the determined two or more regions to determine a mobility factor.

摘要: The invention relates to a system and method for analysing an activity session. Data from a monitoring device worn by a user of the system for example is received over a period of time or distance and a classification system of the invention is utilised in real time or post session to determine the activities performed by the user during the session. The data collected relates to multiple parameters monitored during the activity session. The classification system defines an activity using a set of threshold criteria for a combination of parameters and therefore identifies a particular activity performed during the activity session when a combination of monitored parameters satisfies the threshold criteria for a particular activity. Determining the activities performed in this way allows for more useful interpretation of the data which in turn leads to more effective coaching advice and feedback for the user.

摘要: In an example method, a mobile device obtains sample data generated by one or more sensors over a period of time, where the one or more sensors are worn by a user. The mobile device determines that the user has fallen based on the sample data, and determines, based on the sample data, a severity of an injury suffered by the user. The mobile device generates one or more notifications based on the determination that the user has fallen and the determined severity of the injury.

摘要: A method for detecting validity of human body movement is disclosed, comprising: obtaining a user movement dataset comprising a plurality of n-dimensional movement data items corresponding to a human body movement; vectorizing the user movement dataset to obtain a plurality of eigenvectors of the user movement dataset; inputting the plurality of eigenvectors into a validity detection model, wherein the validity detection model comprises a baseline center and a baseline Mahalanobis distance threshold, to determine whether the corresponding human body movement is valid by steps of: determining a proportion, out of the plurality of eigenvectors of the user movement dataset, of eigenvectors having a Mahalanobis distance from the baseline center that does not exceed the baseline Mahalanobis distance threshold; determining whether the proportion is greater than a proportion threshold.
