    摘要: A printing device includes a sheet feeding mechanism that feeds the recording sheet by a predetermined amount at a time, a carriage that is movable, substantially at a constant speed, in a direction substantially perpendicular to a sheet feeding direction, and a print head mounted on the carriage. The print head is capable of simultaneously forming a plurality of print lines when the carriage moves. The print head is controlled to print a first print pattern that is formed by part of the plurality of print lines on an upstream side. The recording sheet is fed by the predetermined amount after the first pattern is formed. Thereafter, a second print pattern that is formed by part of the plurality of print lines on a downstream side after the recording sheet is fed. At least a part of the first print pattern overlaps a part of the second print pattern.

    摘要: The ink cartridge has a first detection target portion for detecting ink level and a second detection target portion for identifying the type of an ink cartridge. The ink level detection device uses an optical sensor to scan the first and second detection target portions of the ink cartridge, and detects ink level and the type of the ink cartridge, that is, whether the ink cartridge is containing standard amount of ink or large amount of ink. Therefore, the number of image formation on recording media can be estimated, and failure in image formation due to a shortage of ink in the middle of image formation can be inhibited.

The control device consists of a first decision device to decide which point is the nearest by comparing the distances to each point measured by the range finding device, a second decision device which, based on the lens focal length corresponding to the closest distance as found by the first decision device and on the depth of field for that focal length, checks if there is any other point's distance that is within the depth of field for that focal length, a third decision device which determines the zoom ratio according to a predetermined program using the result of the second decision device, and an output device which drives the zoom lens driving device according to the third decision device.

    摘要: A control device for use in a cargo handling vehicle in which a single power plant provides both the vehicle drive and the power to the cargo handling device has a continuously variable transmission. The cargo handling device is actuated by means of a hydraulic pump. Whether or not the cargo handling device is in operation the operator need not adjust the degree of depression of a drive pedal to maintain constant vehicle speed because automatic compensation means are provided for that purpose. The demands upon the vehicle operator are accordingly reduced.
