摘要： A data processing system comprising a storage apparatus and computers which executes a first program and a second program, the storage apparatus having a cache memory with a first area and a second area and a disk unit for storing data of the cache memory. The storage apparatus writes data into the first area corresponding to area identification information included in a data storage request in response to an input of the data storage request. The data is written into the second area corresponding to area identification information included in a data storage request in response to an input of the data storage request. The data stored in the second area is copied to the first area in response to an input of a copy request for causing the data in the second area to be reflected in the first area.

摘要： If relocation of a table with a high reference frequency is made possible, the database management method and system are arranged to improve performance according to the number of increased nodes and accumulate a reference frequency of each external storage unit allocated to each database management node. A data storage area for storing the table with a high reference frequency, located in the external storage unit, is specified as a shared data area to be referenced by plural nodes. The system is controlled to cause the nodes to refer to the shared table stored in the shared data area on any timing in parallel. This prevents load from being concentrated onto the node allocated to the data area.

摘要： The system manages at least a database in multiple database storage units, and the database is duplicated for redundancy. The system maintains the database redundancy for security. The system enables the maintenance and reorganization of the database storage units without interrupting the on-going operations involving the access to the database storage units. The non-stop ongoing database access is available by allocating a pair of a main storage unit and an intermediate storage unit that maintains the substantially identical data. During certain predetermined operations, the main storage unit is being dedicating to the on-going transactions while the intermediate database storage unit is manipulated to contain data that corresponds to a specified time. For example, the content of the intermediate storage is subsequently copied or used to update another database. When the above duplication or incorporation is completed, the intermediate storage unit is updated for the transactions that have taken place during the above operations to be synchronized with the main storage unit.

When the pair of contact portions move forward, a lead terminal of an IC package is sandwiched between the pair of contact portions, which have their movement restricted by a contact track cam and contact with the lead terminal under uniform contact force without abutting against an end of the lead terminal or deforming the lead terminal.

The text data stored temporarily in the update text buffer is registered in a plural-character occurrence file defining a text index in a character component file merge step. The data registered in the plural-character occurrence file is retrieved for query terms. The text data stored in the update text buffer is retrieved for the query terms. The document number of a document updated or deleted is deleted from the result of retrieval in the plural-character occurrence file. Also, the result or the document number obtained in the, update text buffer is added to the result of retrieval to provide a final retrieval result.
