Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for use in facilitating fund transfers between source accounts and destination accounts. One exemplary method includes capturing a computer-readable indicia representative of: a destination account identifier specific to a destination account of a first party and a name of the first party associated with the destination account and, in response to the captured indicia, displaying the name of the first party as a confirmation that the first party is associated with the destination account. The method also includes identifying a source account identifier associated with a source account based on a selection of the source account or on the source account being a default account, and compiling and transmitting a transfer request for a fund transfer based on: the destination account identifier, the source account identifier associated with the identified source account, and a payment amount for the fund transfer.

Abstract: A message routing and pre-processing (MRP) computing device is described herein. The MRP computing device is configured to receive an authorization request message associated with a transaction initiated by a cardholder with a merchant, the authorization request message including authorization parameters of the transaction, and retrieve a plurality of potential authorization routes for the authorization request message. Each potential authorization route includes routing parameters and is associated with a respective transaction processing network (TPN). The MRP computing device is also configured to compare the authorization parameters to the routing parameters of each potential authorization route to determine an optimized authorization route for the authorization request message. The optimized authorization route includes routing parameters that most closely match the authorization parameters. The optimized authorization route is associated with a first TPN. The MRP computing device is further configured to route the authorization request message to the first TPN for authorization processing.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for operating a virtual wallet automatic loading system are described. In an embodiment, a virtual wallet server receives, from a consumer device, automatic-loading parameter data associated with funding a consumer's virtual wallet account, stores the automatic-loading parameter data, determines that at least one trigger condition associated with the consumer's virtual wallet account is met, and generates a standard authorization request message that includes an auto-load transaction amount and at least one payment account number (PAN) of a funding account. The process also includes the virtual wallet server routing the standard authorization message to a payment network authorization system, receiving an authorization response approved message, crediting the consumer's virtual wallet account and incrementing a stored value of the consumer's virtual wallet account, and transmitting an automatic-loading advisement message to the consumer device.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for generating a secure QR code for use in a purchase transaction. In an embodiment, a directory service computer verifies the identity of a merchant by matching an acquirer financial institution (FI)-signed certificate and a stored certificate, wherein the acquirer FI-signed certificate was received from a merchant device along with a secure QR code request. The directory service computer then establishes an encrypted and Pinned SSL tunnel with the merchant device, receives a transaction message including a transaction amount, a universal unique identifier (UUID), and a transaction identifier (ID), updates an application transaction count (ATC) associated with the merchant, and generates and stores a secure one-way Hash value, generated by using a merchant identifier (ID), the transaction amount, the ATC, the UUID, and the transaction ID. The directory service computer next generates a dynamic secure QR code by combining the Hash value, the transaction ID and the merchant ID, and transmits the dynamic secure QR code to the merchant device for use in conducting a purchase transaction.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for generating a secure QR code. In an embodiment, a directory service computer receives a secure QR code request from a merchant device that includes an acquirer financial institution (FI)-signed certificate. The directory service computer verifies the identity of a merchant, identifies a merchant identifier (ID), establishes an encrypted and Pinned SSL tunnel with the merchant device, and receives via the encrypted and Pinned SSL tunnel from the merchant device, a transaction message including a transaction amount, a universal unique identifier (UUID), and a transaction identifier (ID). The directory service computer then generates a Hash value, generates a dynamic secure QR code by combining the Hash value, the transaction ID and the merchant ID, and transmits the dynamic secure QR code data to the merchant device to conduct a purchase transaction.

Abstract: A payment card account system transaction request is received. The request was initiated by acceptance of a payment card account transaction by a merchant. The request includes a transaction amount. It is determined whether the merchant has selected EFT (electronic funds transfer) settlement for the payment card account transaction that the merchant accepted. In response to the receiving step and also in response to a result of the determination as to whether EFT settlement was selected, an EFT transaction request is routed for the transaction amount to an EFT system to benefit the merchant.
