    摘要: The present invention provides a method for attenuating specific signal components within a digital data signal. Such data components may include timing components such as pilot tones and their multiples. This process first receives a decoded data signal. A modulo processing operation, such as a multi-tapped integration, a leaky bucket integration, or other like averaging function on every Nth sample of the received data signal, is then performed to produce a representation of the signal component to be attenuated. A scaling factor may be applied to the representation before subtracting the representation of the signal component to be attenuated from the received data signal. Scaling is required because the signal components to be attenuated may lack a predetermined amplitude or exhibit a time varying amplitude. Subtracting the scaled representation of the signal component to be attenuated from the received data signal produces a filtered data signal wherein the filtering process may exhibit a deep and well defined filter.

    摘要: A handheld audio system includes a radio signal decoder integrated circuit (IC) and a digital audio processing integrated circuit. The radio signal decoder integrated circuit produces a digital left channel signal and a digital right channel signal from a received radio signal in accordance with an enable signal and also produces a system clock. The digital audio processing integrated circuit includes a DC-to-DC converter and a processing module. The DC-to-DC converter is operably coupled to produce at least one power supply voltage based on the system clock. The processing module is operably coupled to produce the enable signal when the at least one power supply voltage has reached a desired level and to produce audio signals for audio playback from at least one of the digital left and right channel signals and a stored digital audio file.

    摘要: A composite structure including a polyurea show surface, or top layer, and a polyurethane backing layer is disclosed. Preferably, the show surface of the composite structure is substantially free of volatile organic compounds and is aliphatic such that it is ultraviolet light stable. Specifically, the show surface is the reaction product of an aliphatic polyisocyanate or aliphatic polyisocyanate blend, and of a resin component which is a polyamine. The resin component reacts with the aliphatic polyisocyanate to form a polyurea. The show surface has a Shore D hardness of 70. Like the show surface, the polyurethane backing layer of the composite structure is substantially free of volatile organic compounds. This backing layer is the reaction product of a second polyisocyanate component, such as polymeric diphenylmethane diisocyanate, and of a second-layer resin component, which comprises a polyol having a functionality of at least three. The complete composite structure has a flexural modulus of at least 200,000 lb/in2.
