摘要: A radio network system and a control node switching method which can improve a reliability of the whole network and improve a wording efficiency. The system includes at least one alternate control node which can be substituted form the control node. The alternate control node monitors an operating state in the control node and discriminates whether or not the operating state is abnormal. When the operating state is determined to be abnormal, the alternate control node sets its own address into a control node address.

摘要: The handheld case of the remote control unit includes at least one touchpad, and other sensors, such as acceleration sensors, case perimeter sensors, pressure sensors, RF signal sensors. These sensors provide a rich array of sensory inputs that are classified by a pattern recognizer to generate control commands for both the consumer electronic equipment and the remote control unit itself. A power management system to conserve unit battery power is also responsive to the pattern recognizer to allow intelligent power management control. The control system uses the display of the consumer electronic equipment to provide instructions to the user, and the behavior of the remote control system uses what is displayed on the display as context information for pattern recognition.

摘要: An image processing device and the like capable of extracting an ROI conforming to a user's request is provided when extracting an ROI from an image. Image processing necessary to calculate the attractiveness of each position (pixel) in the image is performed on an original image inputted from an image input unit (102) by an image processing device for calculating the attractiveness (124), and the attractiveness of each position is calculated by the attractiveness calculating unit (122). A region forming unit (144) determines an ROI based on the attractiveness of each position, and a region forming condition setting unit (142) designates the determining condition therein. When the region forming condition setting unit (142) sets an ROI determining condition, this condition is set based on user's instructions inputted from respective designating units (112 to 118). Each output unit (an image output unit (152), a status output unit (154), and a region information output unit (156)) outputs a processed image, a processing status and information about an ROI (coordinates and size).
