Abstract: There is provided an apparatus comprising at least one processor and at least one memory including a computer program code, the at least one memory and computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus at least to: receive, at a first network repository function in a first network from a security edge protection proxy in a second network, a request for discovering one or more roaming hubs and/or security edge protection proxies in the first network; and send, from the first network repository function to the security edge protection proxy in the second network, a response comprising information identifying the one or more roaming hubs and/or security edge protection proxies in the first network and information identifying one or more further networks which can be reached via a respective roaming hub and/or security edge protection proxy in the first network.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and software for inter-PLMN communications. In one embodiment, a roaming hub receives a message from a sending entity across an N32 interface, and determines whether the message includes an HTTP custom header that indicates a PLMN that is validated. When the message as received does not include the HTTP custom header, the roaming hub adds the HTTP custom header to the message that indicates the PLMN of the sending entity, integrity protects the HTTP custom header, and forwards the message toward a receiving entity.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses and computer program products are described that facilitate sending and receiving notifications related to user equipment being added to or leaving a multicast group or multicast stream in a network. A method can include receiving, from a session controller, a request for reporting when protocol data unit (PDU) sessions are added to/removed from a downlink replication tree associated with an internet protocol multicast flow; determining whether said PDU session has been added to or removed from the downlink replication tree associated with the internet protocol multicast flow; and, in response to said determining, transmitting a message to a session management function indicative of that said PDU session has been added to or removed from said downlink replication tree. The message can include an internet protocol address associated with a source of said added or removed multicast flow and/or the multicast destination of said internet protocol multicast flow.

Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer program products for providing an enforcement mechanism for the maximum number of user equipments per network slice in a communication system are provided. A method, system, and apparatus may receive, from a user equipment (UE), a registration request message comprising requested Network Slice Selection Assistance Information (NSSAI) through an access network (AN). The requested NSSAI comprises one or more single-NSSAIs (S-NSSAIs) subject to a capping number of UEs allowed to access one or more network slices associated with the one or more S-NSSAIs. The method, system, and apparatus may cause transmission of a service request message to a network slice selection function (NSSF). The service request message includes indications of the one or more S-NSSAIs. The method, system, and apparatus may receive a service response from the network slice selection function. The service response comprises an allowed NSSAI that includes at least one of 1) one or more allowed S-NSSAIs or 2) a list of rejected S-NSSAIs due to a maximum number of UEs allowed to access the network slices associated with the one or more S-NSSAIs has been reached.
