Abstract: A method, apparatus, and a computer-readable storage medium are provided for a coordinated receive (or transmit) pattern during a DAPS handover. In an example implementation, the method may include a UE sending a measurement report to a first network node, the measurement report including at least a request for a time division multiplexing pattern. The method may further include receiving a radio resource control configuration from the first network node, the radio resource control configuration including at least the time division multiplexing pattern.

Abstract: In one aspect of the present disclosure, a user equipment has a processor and a memory including computer program code, where the memory and the computer program code are configured, with the processor, to cause the user equipment to receive from a network node at least one beam-specific mobility parameter associated with at least one respective candidate beam in a serving cell; to switch in the serving cell to a new beam among the at least one candidate beam; and to select a beam-specific mobility parameter associated with the new beam. In another aspect of the present disclosure, a network node has a processor and a memory including computer program code, where the memory and the computer program code are configured, with the processor, to cause the network node to preconfigure at least one beam-specific mobility parameter associated with at least one respective candidate beam in a serving cell; and to send the at least one beam-specific mobility parameter to a user equipment.

Abstract: For example, a communication link between a first relay node and a second relay node, which are in synchronous movement, is established. Beam management assistance information from the first relay node is received at the second relay node upon an occurrence of beam failure at the first relay node (S801). At the second relay node it is decided about a timing at which the received beam management assistance information is to be transmitted to a serving network node (S802), and the received beam management assistance information is transmitted from the second relay node to the serving network node at the decided timing (S803).

Abstract: An apparatus includes circuitry configured to: initiate a conditional handover preparation for a conditional handover to change communication access for a user equipment from a source node to a target node; receive a cost from the target node following the conditional handover preparation; receive a cause indicating a trigger for sending the cost, an indication of a type of the cost, and a range for the cost, where the cause characterizes a value of the cost to indicate the type of the cost; the cost being based on resource utilization of the target node, the resource utilization being related to providing communication access for the user equipment following the conditional handover preparation; and adjust a policy related to an initiation of a subsequent conditional handover preparation for the user equipment to the target node, the policy adjusted based on the cost to enhance the resource utilization of the target node.

Abstract: An apparatus suitable for at least to: receive, from a serving access node, a random access update precondition and a configuration with regard to a conditional handover, wherein the configuration indicates at least one handover candidate cell; carry out measurements according to the configuration, and if the random access update precondition is fulfilled, transmit a message to the serving access node, the message comprising information obtained by the measurements and indicating at least one beam of at least one handover candidate cell and/or at least one handover candidate cell that caused the random access update precondition being fulfilled for obtaining a random access resource configuration for carrying out the conditional handover.
