In the optical recording disk, a playback signal is stabilized by setting the level ratio of an AC component of a sum signal to a DC component of the sum signal in a plurality of spots to be equal to or smaller than a predetermined value.

摘要： A sheet finisher includes: a stacking member for aligning a plurality of recording sheets each on which an image has been recorded and for stacking the plurality of recording sheets thereon; a cover sheet feeding member having a cover sheet loading section for loading a cover sheet, for feeding the cover sheet stacked on the cover sheet loading section to the stacking member; a stapling member for stapling the cover sheet and the recording sheets stacked on the stacking member; and a folding member for folding the cover sheet and the recording sheets into two. The cover sheet feeding member, the stacking member and the folding member are substantially vertically arranged in the order from an upper portion to a lower portion of the sheet finisher.

摘要： A novel optical disc which, while having interchangeability with a conventional MD or MD data, has a capacity far exceeding the capacity of these optical discs, and an optical disc device. The optical disc and the optical disc device take into account the constraints of the skew accompanying the increased recording density. By setting the jitter produced when recording random pattern signals on one track only to not more than 8.4% and by setting jitter increase on recording signals also on both side neighboring tracks to not more than 4.9%, the skew margin in the radial direction of not less than ±0.7° and that in the running direction (circumferential direction) of not less than ±0.6° are assured.

The header of the file with the header is read out on the basis of the file pointer information. Position information in the file corresponding to the index information is detected from the header. The latter half data of the file is read out on the basis of the position information and added to the track in which coupling has been instructed, thereby newly forming a file with a header.
