Abstract: A diagnosis assistance device assists a diagnosis, by using a plurality of sets of biological information that are measured from a subject, and that are stored in a storage medium. The diagnosis assistance device includes an achievement status determining section and a notification processing section. The achievement status determining section determines an achievement status of a predetermined condition related to biological information that is measured from the subject, based on the plurality of sets of biological information stored in the storage medium. The notification processing section performs a process of notifying of the achievement status. The condition is that the pattern of a change of biological information which is stored in the storage medium contains, threshold or more times, a specific pattern. The specific pattern is extreme-dipper, non-dipper, or riser.

Abstract: In the depressurization process, a memory is caused to sequentially store, as a data pair, a time at which the waveform feature point of the pulse beat was generated and the cuff pressure at the time, in association with each other. The cuff pressure is displayed on an indicator. In the depressurization process, an observer who listens to a Korotkoff sound with a stethoscope while viewing the cuff pressure displayed on the indicator operates an operation unit, and inputs a timing signal indicating a time at which the observer judged that generation of the Korotkoff sound had stopped generating. A data pair corresponding to one pulse beat before a data pair corresponding to the time is specified, and a cuff pressure included in the specified data pair is recorded as a corrected diastolic blood pressure value.

Abstract: A blood-pressure gauge includes a blood pressure measurement unit that automatically performs blood pressure measurement according to a predetermined schedule in one of a plurality of blood pressure measurement modes. The plurality of blood pressure measurement modes include a normal measurement mode and a plurality of measurement modes having higher reliability than the normal measurement mode. The blood-pressure gauge further includes a determination unit that determines whether any of a plurality of events has occurred in a user during blood pressure measurement, and a mode setting unit that sets an active measurement mode from among the plurality of blood pressure measurement modes based on a determination result. The mode setting unit sets the normal measurement mode as the active measurement mode when no event has occurred, and sets one of the plurality of measurement modes as the active measurement mode when one of the events has occurred.

Abstract: A sphygmomanometer includes a storage unit that stores a measured blood pressure value. In a nighttime blood pressure measurement mode, blood pressure measurement is automatically started according to a schedule, and a blood pressure is measured when a blood pressure measuring cuff is in a pressurization process or a depressurization process. Further, it is determined whether or not a current blood pressure value measured is different from a past blood pressure value stored in the storage unit beyond an allowable range. When the current blood pressure value is different from the past blood pressure value beyond the allowable range, it is discriminated which phenomenon among a plurality of predetermined types of phenomena has occurred in the subject. A time of remeasurement with respect to a measurement time of the current blood pressure value is variably set according to which phenomenon among the plurality of types of phenomena has occurred.

Abstract: A blood pressure value analysis support apparatus includes a one-beat reliability determination unit and section setting unit. The determination unit determines reliability of a blood pressure value for each beat including a first reliability and second reliability lower in reliability than the first based on information indicating disturbance. The section setting unit sets valid and invalid sections for the time-series data of blood pressure based on a reliability determination result. The section setting unit includes a section wherein the blood pressure value reliability for each beat is the first reliability in the valid section and includes a section wherein the blood pressure value reliability for each beat is the second reliability in the invalid section, for the time-series data of blood pressure. The section setting unit changes the invalid section when a length of a continuous period is less than a preset first threshold value to the valid section.
