摘要： A still-camera film transport system includes a perforation feeler and cooperating perforation-detecting switch generating a perforation signal. A time-delay circuit initiates a time delay upon the commencement of film transport and generates a time-delay-elapsed signal when the time delay has elapsed. The duration of the delay is greater than the time required for the film transport motor to transport film from the last film perforation to the actual end of the film. A shutter-state switch generates a signal indicating whether the shutter is in set or unset state. A motor-control switch is controlled from the output of a logic-circuit stage which receives the above three signals. During normal operation before the last perforation is passed, the perforation signal is used to generate a deenergize-motor signal, but in dependence upon the shutter-state signal. When the last film perforation is passed, another perforation signal will not be generated, but after the elapse of the predetermined time interval, the time-delay-elapsed signal causes the film transport motor to be deenergized, but not before the actual end of the film has been reached.

摘要： An accessory unit, for example an electronic flash unit, for use with photographic apparatus has a housing provided with one or more connecting elements for detachably connecting the unit to the apparatus. 摘要： Relatively short sections of photographic roll films (such sections can consist of a single film frame or of two or another small number of film frames) are provided with elongated strip-shaped extensions for convenient transport through a copying machine. Extensions are severed from the leader of a roll of convoluted flexible material having a width matching the desired length of an extension, and one end of a freshly severed extension is caused to overlap one end of a film section so that the extent of overlap is not more than the width of a frame line between two neighboring frames of a roll film. One side of each extension is fully coated with a layer of hotmelt, and the extension is sealed to the respective film section by a narrow elongated heating element which is moved against the overlapping ends of the film section and the properly oriented extension. The roll can be subdivided into wider or narrower extensions, depending upon the width of film sections which are to be connected with extensions.

摘要： A motion picture camera with variable focal length lens wherein the zooming collar and the distance selecting or focusing collar on the lens barrel are rotatable to neutral positions by an actuating member which is movable at right angles to or in parallelism with the optical axis of the lens. In such neutral positions of the collars, the focal length of the lens is satisfactory for the making of exposures in daylight or artificial light, and the distance setting corresponds to a distance of 4 to 6 meters to thus guarantee an acceptable depth of field for exposures of subjects located anywhere between closeup and infinity. The actuating member can further close a master switch to allow for starting of the camera motor in immediate response to depression of the release trigger.

摘要： A scene-pause counter, a scene-production counter, and a repetition counter are connected in a series. Each counter furnishes its count to an associated comparator which also receives a signal from an addressable read-only memory. Pulse trains are applied to the counters. When a comparator in the series detects coincidence, it initiates counting by the next counter. When the last comparator in the series detects coincidence it can restart the first counter. A program-selector switch causes different address signals to be applied to the memory, resulting in different operations of different durations, in different combinations and sequences. This makes possible projection or exposure of single frames or series of frames with intermediate pauses between the projection or exposure of successive frames or series of frames, as well as repetitions of such combinations of operations.
