The device comprises a first container (100) for storage of the first substance and a second container (150) received in the first container (100) and for storage of the second substance. An outlet (112) is disposed at the distal end of the first container (100). Valve means (180) are provided for closing a distal end of the second container (150) and a proximal end of the first container (100). A stopper means (166) closes a proximal end of the second chamber (152) and is movable with respect to the second container (150). An operating mechanism drives relative movement between the first and second containers for causing displacement of the second substance into the first chamber (102) through the valve means (180) when the outlet (112) is closed, for mixing the first and second substances in a mixing stroke of the device.

    摘要: A medicament delivery device (100; 300; 400) comprises a chassis (124), a drive element (166) for driving a stopper (22) to expel the medicament through a cannula (144). A carrier (126) is arranged for movement with respect to the chassis (124). Insertion means (130, 202) biases the carrier (126) in an insertion direction. A control part (132) is biased for rotation with respect to the carrier (126). A locking element (176) prevents rotation of the control part (132) in an initial state. The locking element (176) is coupled to the drive element (166) such that the control part (132) is released for rotation when the drive element (166) reaches an activation position during a delivery stroke. Rotation of the control part (132) through a predetermined angle causes decoupling of the insertion means (130, 202) from the carrier (126) to allow movement of the carrier (126) in a retraction direction after the end of the delivery stroke.

    摘要: An injector apparatus includes a housing (101, 102) for a cartridge or syringe, a plunger (40) for cooperating in use with the cartridge or syringe to express successive doses, a dose setting arrangement (16, 20) to select a dose volume, and a drive mechanism (22, 24) releasable to advance the plunger in respective predetermined increments of magnitude to express the successive doses. The drive mechanism includes a drive spring (22) for imparting movement directly or indirectly to the plunger (40), and the dose setting arrangement includes a dose setting element (16) moveable in a dose setting routine to define a magnitude of an increment of movement of the plunger for a given dose. The drive mechanism further includes a clutch arrangement (56) operable during the dose setting routine to inhibit forward movement of the plunger and/or to isolate the dose setting element from the force of the drive spring.
